Chapter Nine
Escaped
Her escape was completely hidden that even Chasen's satellite couldn't track her down when she left the hospital after three months of intensive care. Hired security guards were always guarding her door as the parents insisted. They knew Chasen will strike if they let their guard down even if he is banned inside the hospital where she is confined. His parents contacted Demitri to help them hide her from Chasen; he was too willing to render them his help and save the innocent girl he wanted to kill.
From a private plane owned by Swiss businessman, they stashed Natalie inside wearing cap and hooded coat for the satellite not to spot her. There she met a man named Jacobson –told her the plan to hide her in Ireland for a period of time. "You can't go back in Alaska anymore Mr. Fritzcole will surely look for you there first. The United States is his advantage so we decided to relocate you across the country. We will give you money for your finances until you find a job there. The place where you will be heading is a small town, where people knew our language, so you can cope up with the neighbors. Don't use your real name –here." He handed her passport with fake documents in the other envelope.
She stared at her new identity –she was now Louise Evans of Brookfield, Limerick, Ireland. An exchange student from Alabama. There are fake diplomas, birth certificate and school records. She examine it with great interest; the effort they gave just to hide her from the young Fritzcole who wanted to kill her so badly in the most painful way he could possibly think, was a gift she couldn't ask for.
"The small town school had your school records already, so don't stress yourself enrolling. You are not to communicate with anyone in the US, friends, families, anyone. In this you will be untraceable. Only few people knew you are being transferred tonight. That's his parents, his uncle and the uncle's friend, that's me. Trust me I don't like Chasen of what he became now. He transformed into this hard head, arrogant, pitiless fool and that is the White House's advantage; he can squeeze the truth out of criminals by, you know, extreme force like what he did to you. Always wear cap when walking in the open, he had satellite to roam around the earth and does all sort of facial recognition test. Don't ever post your picture on the internet. He will track you down easily."
She nodded with great ache in her part. It was always been difficult for her to leave the people she loves without any farewell from her friends, but for safety purposes, she needed to swallow the sacrifice –like Natalie Barry was never been born in Alaska.
Another three hours to go and she will be arriving in her new hometown; she doesn't know what to expect or how to begin. Every event that passes her flashes rapidly in her mind. The horror inside the prison: starvation and freezing every night. Thank god she wasn't sexually assaulted. The torture in the Fritzcole's house. In that one week of incarceration, she receives more than twenty lashes all over her body. She keeps begging him to stop or kill her already but the whip keeps intensifying as the sadistic callous man sways it while grinning. Electrocuted ones a day; Chasen will release her from hanging to deal with another horror as she slumps on the floor. She chokes blood while in great pain. The continuous starvation and being hanged by the wrist –the doctor told her, her lungs almost collapse and her stomach suffering from ulceration. She was surprised she made it alive. She will be forever thankful of Mrs. Gama who discovered her and the parents who helped her and protect her from their own son.
The plane drop low and Natalie peeked out of the window to admire the city light below her. Ireland was a small country, but it greeted her harmlessly.
Mr. Jacobson leads her to the waiting car; her hood always obscuring her from view and off they go to her new apartment where trees surrounded the whole town. Another hour and a half inside the car, Natalie busied herself watching the city flashes in her sight. She can't be in the city he might expect her in the comfort of a crowded place. Admittedly she loves small town, because small town had less crime and people intend to be so friendly. They halt in front of a three storey building; there was an Irish old lady, probably in her fifties greeted her.
