New Beginning

One week after Azir's death, the White House was busily preparing for the Presidential speech. He will give too some special awards to the tactical team who took down the man the world wanted to capture so badly or even kill. Sandberg assistant head director of the FBI, Fanning the head director, Clayton ground head officer of the SEAL team, behind him are the rest of the static, Stanley of the CIA, Collin to represent all the satellite team and of course the change Chasen Fritzcole, special ranking official. His buddies who aided him in Brazil already bombarded him with teasing comments how cry baby he was when they saw him. Sandberg and Clayton heard the men jeering at him; they joined the men teasing him that he finally growled at them of threatening words. It just made their hilarity reach the peak. All of them were in their official uniform with medals patched in the front coat and cap on their heads. The noise only stops when a ring echoed inside his pocket. He picks it up and Natalie's voice rang on it. The guys gave him a mocking wink; he ignored them anyway as he converse with her. He almost ditches this special recognition event when he heard her ready for discharge now. But she assured him to wait for him if it is the only way for him to stay in the White House for quite a bit.

"I'll wait okay, anyway I needed to go for another x-ray of my ankle and they needed to view my heart one last time, so stop spoiling your recognition, okay."

"Oh who cares about a stupid star in their dress," he complained on the phone. He heard an exaggerated sigh on the speaker; it made him laugh. "Wait for me then, missed you already," he muttered in longing - he got used to her presence beside him all the time and right now he was suffering separation anxiety because of the distance. The guys behind him jeered more than ever as they hear his romantic side. He threw them a scowl for eavesdropping.

"I feel the same," she laughs. She was so far trying every time she wakes up, that this wasn't just a beautiful dream, but when Chasen's smiling face greeted her every time she opens her eyes, it always made her reassured, because his lips were always brushes her lips even before he greeted her good morning.

The awarding was in a private room. They can't just allow displaying who was the intelligence behind the mission in Israel in front of thousands of viewers. When the President reaches Chasen, he gave him a fatherly pat on his shoulder.

"Well, Mr. Fritzcole I cannot sign your resignation; I won't let you resign so early in your career. But I do however granted your three months vacation. I know you and Ms. Barry needed some time starting a new beginning. Good luck young man. I'll see you in three months, do enjoy the time."

"Thank you sir," replied Chasen, smiling happily. That's all he needed right now, spend time with Natalie, day and night twenty four-seven a week.

Natalie was with his parents helping her pack her things. It's been less than a month since she was confined in the hospital near home as Chasen still insists of a 24-7 care from medical professionals until she was finally better. He didn't care about the bills or whatever financial problem it is. The bills in Brazil even reach to hundred grand and the private plane cost him twenty grand, but he didn't care as long as his prey gets well and come back to him, money is nothing compare to what he will get in return -and that's Natalie. He would gladly withdraw everything he had for her to make sure her heart conditions won't put her in great danger again.

A knock on the door, the knob turns and the door opens -came in looking so respectable on his official uniform.

"Wow you look so great," Natalie admired as he walks nearer, looking like the most wonderful man in the world she had ever known. Gone all her memories of their first impression at each other. It was like they just met in Brazil and fell in love instantly.
