Apologies, everyone. My life has become a bit hectic at the moment, meaning I haven't been able to write in soooooo long. I really have missed it!
Hope this makes up for it, though :)

Chapter 2

Bellamy's POV

Her face was cold and dark when our eyes met, and I immediately recognised the lack of 'Quinn' within her system. Barely any time had past since we last were together, yet I feel miles away from the Quinn I know and love.

What to happened to my baby mama?

"Hey, Quinn-" I try, however Murphy cuts me off when we arrive at a small clearing.

"Everybody, down! Down!" Murphy whispers, pulling me down to the ground.

I look over at Quinn, but her expression is dead, with her eyes locked onto the grounders territory.

"This is it," Murphy states. "Told ya I'd find it."

Fuck you, Murphy.

Looking through the spyglass of my rifle, I sigh. "I see nothing but grounders."

The idea of my daughter being held captive made me anxious, but at least I knew where she was located. If she's not here, where can she be?

Taking Sterling's gun, Finn takes a look for himself before coming to the same conclusion I have. "Our people aren't here."

"Give it here!" Quinn snatches the gun from Finn's hands and takes a look, clearly as desperate as I am to find Dawn.

"Quinn, they're not-" I start.

"They've got stuff from our drop ship," she concludes.

"So maybe they know where our friends are," I say, hoping they know where my baby is.

"Yeah, or maybe they killed them already," Murphy mutters, causing Quinn to jab him hard in the gut. "Ow!" Murphy growls, leaning forward to manage the pain.

That's my girl.

Just as I'm enjoying this little show, Finn whispers, "son of a bitch." He seems to have reclaimed control of the gun.

"What is it?" I ask instantly, curious to know what I have missed.

"The guy with the one eye," I begins. "Around his neck."

I follow the instructs, but I cannot connect the dots. "What am I looking at?"

"He's got Clarke's watch."

Finn seems mega pissed about this, and I don't blame him. If they had something of Dawn's, I'd want to hit something.

"It's was her father's," Quinn explains.

"She wouldn't give that up without a fight," I state, remembering how much her father meant to her.

"Neither will we," Finn says, determination dancing in his voice.

I take a moment to think before deciding our plan of action. "Okay, you're with me," I tell Finn. "You two stay here, outta sight," I tell Sterling and Monroe. "If this thing goes south, take out the other grounders, but don't shoot the grounder with the watch. Copy?"

"Copy," everyone repeats.

"What about Quinn?" Monroe asks.

"Quinn, you can-"

"I'm with you and Finn," she decides, giving me no other option.

"And Murphy?" Finn questions.

"Yeah, do I get a gun now?" Murphy asks me, and I want to laugh.
