IRA POV

"Good morning babe!" Ashely squeeled as Jack slowly opened his eyes. When they were finally fully open, he looked around the room and his eyes landed on me. He gave me crooked smile and i gave him an apologetic smile. He looked confused so i motioned my hands to Ashely.

When his eyes landed on her, he just stared and stared and stared that it was creepy. Ashely blushed and i could Jack wanted to touch her face put intsead he let out a groan.

"Aaaah, my hands, thaey-they hurt!" He slowly brought his hands onto his lap and examined them. 

"You had to be an idiot and pick up a silver rod?" I asked. He looked up and met my eyes. The eyes that once held lust for me now held confusion and regret. He chuckled.

"Yeah but i got him good." I chuckled after him.

"Yeah, he's still got a bruise from it." He started laughing but then stopped because he started to cough.

"Here bro." Mathew handed Ashely a water bottle with a straw in it. Don't ask, i have no idea where he got it from. Ashely put it in front of Jacks mouth and he gladly sipped on it. We all watched in amusement as Jack finished half the bottle. When he was done, Ashely put the cap on and left it on her lap. I smiled because they were so cute together.

"Alright, well, all looks well. He seems to be fit and healthy, just the burns to watch out for but they will be gone in about a day or two. I'll leave you guys to it but i'll be back to run some tests." The doctor wrote some stuff on her clip board before leaving the room.

"Hey guys, can i uhm, please talk to Ira alone?" Everyone nodded and slowly made their way out of the room. But Ashely stopped at the door and glared daggers at me before flipping her hair and walking out. I closed the door and rolled my eyes.

"Soooooooo?"  i asked, walking over to the chair that Ashely was sitting on. "You found  your mate!" I wiggled my eyebrows. He chuckled.

"More like she found me." I grinned then nodded. After that there was a really awkward silence. It got too long so i decided to break it.

"Look, ok, i don't mind at all. You can go with her. I promised you that you could. Whatever we had, we can just pretend like it never happened and we can just be best friends?" He studied my face for a while before finally answering.

"Deal. I would shake you hand but..." He trailed off. I laughed and the i don't know why but i kissed him. It was a like a peck but much more intimate. He responded and then i pulled back and sat on the chair again.

"Sorry, i just wanted to do that for the last time." He smiled but nodded.

"It's cool. Is that how it felt kissing me? So bland?" I nodded and blushed but he just laughed. When you find your mate, you only want their kiss and only theirs tastes or feels good to you.

After a while, i joined in laughing with him.

I missed dinner by like 3 hours. I was so into seeing Jack that i missed it. Everyone was sleeping now because its 11:45pm.

I sighed as i warmed up a plate of chicken pasta. It smelled delicous. I opened the microwave door once it started beeping. I got out a fork from the drawer and shoved it in my plate. Then i grabbed my coke, which i had poured while the pasta was heating up, and walked into the lounge.

I sat on the sofa that was at the end of the lounge, directly facing the tv. I placed my stuff on the coffee table before searching for the remote. After about 5 minutes of searching, i finally found it stuck between the cushions. Idiots. I walked back to my seat, sat down and surfed sky.

I decided that i would watch a comedy and went for Jack and Jill that had just started. I turned all the lights off, put the volume high and started eating my dinner and sipping my coke.

About 20 minutes into the movie, i had finished my food and drink. I was so full that i was sure that i would pop. I placed all my dishes on the coffee table and decided to lay down. Luckily it was a love seat so i lay down on my side, my head resting on the arm holder, my knees bent because i was too tall. It was a relaxing position.

I started to laugh out loud when the man layed down on Jills' sweat shadow. That was gross! I quickly covered mouth incase someone heard me. Then i heard someone chuckle behind me. I didn't have to look to know who it was.

"You sound adorable when you laugh." Jace walked out from behind and stood near my feet. He was wearing black boxers with a grey baggy tee. He looked at my legs and his eyes slowly went darker. I was confused and looked down. I was wearing huge baggy black tee and grey short shorts.

"Oi! Eyes up here!" I said pointing 2 fingers to my eyes. He stepped out of his trance and met my eyes. There were forest green and held lust and adoration. He smiled. I shrugged and looked back at the tv.

Then i felt electricity shoot up my legs and i look down to see that Jace was now sitting on the other side of the sofa and my legs were on top of his lap. He noticed me looked and turned to smile at me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Sitting down." He replied casualy. I rolled my eyes and was about to look back at the tv but he spoke again. "I heard Jack found his mate, Ashely." I nodded.

"Yeah, won't have to worry about either of them now." I said.

"Yeah, more chances for me." He chuckled and i laughed. That was true because now i don't have a boyfriend and now Ashely will lay off his back. I stopped laughing when i noticed him staring at me, with an amused face.

"What?" I asked.

"You are so cute when you laugh." I blushed and mumbled thanks before turning back to the tv.

I was trying to pay attention to what was going on in the movie, trust me i was, but Jace kept gliding his fingers up and down my legs. It was so distracting! Once i even let out a small moan and that only encouraged him more! I didn't want to tell him to stop because i sort of liked it.

I slowly felt my eyes starting to get heavier and heavier until they were closed. But i was still awake. I felt Jace slowly getting up and then the tv turned off. I felt 2 hands pick me up and then my side hitting a chest. Jace picked me up bridal style and i buried my head into his chest, inhaling his scent.

I felt him walk up the stairs and i was waiting for the noise of my door opening but that didn't happen. Instead he walked up another flight of stairs  until opening the door.

Jaces scent tackled me and i immediaty felt relaxed and calm. I didn't mind the fact that Jace was going to sleep next to me, on his bed. I felt the soft sunstance beneath me and i crawled under the cover. I heard Jace chuckled and then the bed dented on my side and i knew that Jace was next to me.

I let him spoon me from behind and i snuggled closer to him. I knew that this would be one of the best sleeps i'll have in my life. I felt safe and happy when i was this close to him.

Jace kissed my forehead before murmuring,

"Good night babe. I'll be here for you, forever."

I know short and boring chapter! But i felt like giving you guys 2 chapters in 1 day!
