The next day, Arabella wakes up much earlier than usual. It wasn't the typical 5 am she was accustomed to at the palace, but it was still early nonetheless.

There's a knock on the door and in walks her Aunt Lisa who seems surprised to see that her niece had woken up on her own accord, this morning. "Oh, you're awake." She says, her eyes widening in shock. "Looks like I won't be needing this bucket of water after all"

"Seriously, you actually brought it this time." Arabella deadpans, gesturing to the bucket of water dangling in her Aunt's hand.

Aunt Lisa laughs "Relax, it was just a precautionary measure, in case you refused to wake up again. But since you're already awake, I have no use for it. Now Hurry up and get dressed, the boys will be here soon." Aunt Lisa informs her while exiting the room.

And with that being said, Arabella stands to her feet and makes her way into the bathroom to get ready for school.

After getting dressed, Arabella then heads downstairs to have breakfast, before Zack and Mason arrived to pick her up for school.

When she gets there, she spots her Aunt and Uncle already in the kitchen. Uncle Scott is having his typical morning coffee, which he usually drinks every morning before going to work. While Aunt Lisa is preparing breakfast on the stovetop.

"Good morning, guys." Arabella greets, sliding into the chair next to her Uncle.

The man in question looks up from his phone and greets Arabella with a smile. "Morning kiddo. Did you sleep well?"

"For the most part." Arabella nods.

Just then the doorbell rings indicating that Zack and Mason had arrived. Arabella gets up from her seat and strides over to the living room to answer the door.

She takes a peek through the peephole, making sure that it was the boys and not a stranger, before unlocking the door.

"Good morning, your highness" The two boys greeted, bowing their heads in respect while entering the house.

Arabella sighs."Guys, I've already told you to call me Arabella. From now on, we're brothers and sister. Even when no one's around"

"Sorry, it's a force of habit," Zack admits, and Mason nods in agreement.

"It's okay, I know it will take some getting used to, so it's fine," Arabella reassures them. "By the way, I'm going over to Spencer's house after school, so you guys can go ahead and leave without me"

"You're going over to that Spencer guy's house, all by yourself, are you sure that's a good idea." Mason sounds worried.

"Yes, I don't have a choice, if I want to get a good grade for this project"

"And are you sure you don't need us to tag along to protect you?" Zack added.

Arabella shakes her head no, assuring the boys that she would be fine. Besides, it would probably seem pretty strange to Spencer, if she were to let them come along.

She was going to have to do this on her own.

🌟*🌟
(Meanwhile, at Spencer's house)

"Young Master, you're going to be late for school" A familiar voice speaks disturbing his sleep.

Despite his sleepy state, Spencer recognizes the owner of the voice. It's his butler, Phillip.

Spencer ignores the man, shifting slightly from his current position but makes no attempt to get off the bed.

He would sleep for five more minutes and then he would get ready for school. Besides, It's not like five more minutes of sleep ever hurt anyone.

"Young Master, Madam has just arrived at home and she's not going to like it if you miss your first period." The man continues. "And you know how she gets when she's angry."

After hearing this, Spencer immediately opens his eyes, tossing back the blankets in a haste, and jumps out of bed.

"Mother's home?" He finally speaks. His voice is slightly grouchy from sleep. "Why didn't you start with that, I would have woken up five minutes ago"

"You didn't ask." The man shrugged, letting out a laugh "Anyway, would you like me to prepare your uniform while you freshen up?"

"That would be great, thanks" Spencer nods, before walking over to his bathroom to take a shower.

After having a quick shower, Spencer walks back into his room and gets dressed in his uniform.

After which he goes downstairs and spots his mother chatting with someone on the phone. When the other notices his presence, she bids goodbye to the caller and hangs up the phone.

"Darling, why have you not left for school as yet?" His Mother, questions.

"I overslept, but don't worry, I'm leaving now," Spencer says, turning around to leave, only to be stopped in his tracks again as his mother calls out to him.

"You're father's inviting the Hamilton's over for dinner this evening, so don't make any plans and come straight back home, okay" she informs.

Dinner with Hamilton's meant that he would have to see Chloe. And he most definitely did not want that. So he quickly comes up with a good excuse, as to why he couldn't attend.

"Sorry mom, I already have plans"

"You're going to have to cancel those plans honey, because this dinner is really important to your father"

"No problem mom, but how do you feel about me getting a bad grade for my Sci, Med, and tech class."

"You know that's unacceptable."

"Exactly. That's why I cannot cancel my plans mom, unless you want me to get a bad grade on my group project.  Because I've invited my partner over today to start the project.

"That's fine, just finish your work early and then you and your friend can come to join us for dinner."

"You want me to invite her to stay for dinner?"

"Of course, it's the polite thing to do."

Spencer smiles to himself, after hearing his mother's words. Maybe dinner with the Hamilton's wasn't going to be so bad after all.
