She felt weightless in my arms, but she was shaking. Her skin had lost most of its color, I knew she wasn't feeling good from the moment I had laid my eyes on her after she was sick. If she has a stomach ulcer that's gonna suck balls.
She was in little black shorts and a band shirt, I hope she wasn't cold. I set her in the car and buckled her in, she looked so weak, weaker than the day we first met and she almost passed out.

I drive almost frantically to the hospital, when we get there I'm carrying her still, and the nurse go another nurse to bring out a wheel chair. They escort her to a room quickly and leave me in the waiting room to fill out paper work.

Um.. Her weight.. Oh yeah 125, she told me that last night. She was so pissed off last night, I felt bad though. I knew that shit haunted her and I kept pressing for information and I knew I'd asked he wrong thing, that's one of those things you keep quiet about and try to figure out on your own. And how could I have thought that she could fight back against a grown man?

I write down all her symptoms and a nurse rushes over to me. "Has she been having nightmares lately or stressing out over something?" She asks and I nod.

"She been having nightmares just about every night and she's seemed focused on something else lately." I admit and she runs a hand through her hair. "Why do you ask?"

"She looked absolutely terrified when we were about to out the IV in her wrist, she's trembling very bad as well." The nurse says, she looks worn out, she probably has young ones at home. "Would you mind telling me about her? That way I may know how to calm her down?"

"Um, she needs a soda," I say softly, knowing she's always had a soda whenever she's stressed out. "I'll get it, walk with me?" I ask and she trots next to me to the soda machine. I pay a dollar and a sprite pops out. "Can I go to her room?" I ask and the nurse shakes her head.

"Not unless your 18." She says and I shake my head no. "I'll be right back." She says and disappears into what u guess is Mary Anne's room. She returns.

"Who are you anyways?" I ask and she smooths her t shirt and scrub pants down, she pregnant.

"I'm a social worker for the hospital." She states and I just nod, I've only dealt with social workers once and that was when Emma's incident occurred. "Does she have a family history of stomach ulcers?" She asks and my eyes shoot to the floor.

"Um, she doesn't know her birth parents." I say and her own eyes dart to the floor.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that." She says and I just nod.

"Um.. Does she drink sweetie?" The woman asks and I shake my head no.

"Does she take a lot of headache of pain reducers, like ibuprofen or aspirin?" She asks and I shrug.

"Has she been in a household where someone smokes a large consumption of tobacco?" The woman asks and my mind shoots to Tyler.

"I think so." I say and she nods.

"Okay well I'll go talk to her, for now, how are you?" She asks, placing her hand on my knee.

"I'm okay, I just hope she's alright." I say fully telling the truth.

"Your a sweet boy." She says smiling and I smile myself, "are y'all a couple?" She asks and I nod my head, "aww," she coos. "I'll try to get the nurses to let you into her room, okay?" She says and I nod.

In the mean time I call David, her father and he tells me he'll be on his way with Ricky as soon as possible. I also called Shane to come and sit with me, he's always been good with keeping me calm.

"Another thing sweetie, has she been under a lot of stress?" She asks and I nod my head.

"She's been having nightmares and then when she's been waking up for the last couple of days she just been throwing up after them." I admit and she nods and heads back to the room Mary Anne's in.

"Hey man how is she?" Shane asks, coming in pulling up the collar of his hoodie.

"I don't know they won't let me in to see her." I say and his almost smile drops.

"Ass holes." He mutters under his breath and I chuckle. "I'm gonna buy a coke." He declares and I laugh at how pissed he sounds.

I get on my phone and go through my pictures, she takes the most beautiful pictures. She calls them selfies which is the gayest name in the world for a picture of your self but she makes it so cute. She's such a little kid it's adorable.

This one's my favorite, she's in a striped sweater and she looks so bored, her little puts lips are perfectly lined with natural pinkness and she just looks gorgeous, she always looks gorgeous.

"So have you got laid yet?" Shane asks with a slight smirk and I shove his shoulder playfully.

"Dude I wish, but no, how about you and Tracey?" I ask and he sighs.

"Dude we were hanging out the other day at the beach and shit got like.. Real. Yah know, and we were just about to when she was all, "we can't I have my period." I told her I didn't give a damn and she just like cringed and we didn't!" He says and I laugh so hard my insides hurt.

"Sucks to be you, nasty ass." I say and he throws his hands up.

"What? I don't care if she's bleeding out her ass." He says and I can't stop laughing.

"Yeah bro, I know." I say and just rub my forehead.

"You can come see her now, her fathers here and he said it's cool." The nurse says and I stand up, my legs urging me to move.

As I walk with nurse she explains things, "her father just told us she was recently out in medicine for fluid behind her ear, the kind of medicine is too strong for her and we believe it and the stress created an ulcer, which we'll have to remove soon." The nurse says, she'll have to have surgery. "She's asleep right now, she was so nervous so we gave her a little bit of Valium, she should be out for a while."

We step inside the room and her pale figure is cuddled under the hospital covers, arm sticking out off the bed. Ricky's in a chair, texting someone, and her dad comes over and shakes my hand, "good to see you again Mathew." He says and I repeat the same to him. "She didn't tell me she was stressed out." David explains, popping his fingers and Ricky looks up from his phone.

"Me and her we're talking a couple days ago, I could tell she was." Ricky says and I just nod.

"You alright Mathew? You look a little bit stressed yourself." He says and I nod.

"Yeah just worried." I explain and he smiles.

"Your so good for her, I want you to know that." David says and pulls me in for a guy hug.
