ALEXIS’ POINT OF VIEW
We’re stayed quiet ni Ash habang nakaupo siya sa harap ko, meanwhile our older sisters are busy talking about random things—about their batch mates and of course, their works.
“How about Ash? Meron na bang pumoporma sa kanya?” Ate Angel asked Ate Alex, tumingin ako kay Ash na napatingin kila Ate.
“I don’t know, maybe. Hindi naman kasi malabo na magkaroon ‘to ng mga suitor.” Ate Alex teased her.

How about si Alexis? Meron na ba?”
“Wala pa p—” I was about to speak when Ash interrupted me.
“Ate, can we go home na? I’m tired”
Ash said. Good thing iniba niya yung topic kasi baka ma-hot seat pa ako nang wala sa oras.
After the dinner, I didn’t talk with Ash anymore. Ako na din nagdrive pauwi while Ate was sleeping at the back

When we arrived home, dumiretso ako sa kwarto at nagpahinga na.
The next morning, gumising ako nang maaga because I’m planning to have a morning run. Preparation lang for the upcoming tournament, para sa stamina ko.
Bago ako umalis nagpaalam muna ako kay Mama and Dad. Dito lang naman ako sa buong subdivision magmomorning run.
I was running for almost 1hr when I stopped sa may play ground dito sa subdivision, I walked papunta sa bench and sat there for a while.
Malayo na rin to sa bahay. Hingal na hingal ako habang nakaupo sa may bench at nakapatong ang mga siko ko sa legs ko. Problema pa dahil wala akong nadalang tubig, kainis.
My throat is really dry as hell, parang gusto ko na tuloy bumalik sa bahay but how? It’s really far from here.
Habang nakayuko ako at nag-iisip ng gagawin ko ay may napansin akong sapatos na black Adidas Questar 3 na nasa harapan ko.

Napaangat ako ng tingin sa taong nakatayo sa harapan ko, I was shocked when I saw Ash Lee. She’s wearing a hoodie and pair of grey joggers.
“What are you doing here?”
I asked her, but instead of answering my question tinaasan niya lang ako ng kilay. Aga, taray agad.
“Ako ang dapat magtanong sayo niyan. What are you doing here?”
She said, tumingin ako sa paligid and tinignan if there is someone else na nandito.
“Masama ba, I’m a resident here naman ah?” I asked her, bago bumalik ng tingin sa kanya.
“How about you?”
“I was about to stay here, pero nandito ka pala.” She was about to go when I held her wrist out of nowhere.
“Aalis ka agad?”
I asked her, hindi ko rin alam bakit ko ginagawa to ngayon. I’m also confused. Bahala na, lonely naman kung mag-isa lang ako dito di ba?
“Fine.”
She said, tinanggal niya agad yung kamay ko sa wrist niya at umalis sa harapan ko.
