ASH LEE’S POINT OF VIEW
I’m still thinking about the things I did last time I met Alexis. I admit I was acting strange. Why did I even say sorry? Because of what I said after she confessed? But it’s true I really felt guilty dahil doon.
After that encounter, things changed again between me and her. After the holiday break, hindi na ulit kami nagpansinan, para bang walang nangyari.
Napansin ko din na nagiging close na sila ni Henry because I heard some rumors that they are seeing together. Speaking of Henry, he stopped bothering me na din. Good thing, naman at tumigil na.
“Hey, manonood ba kayo ng laban nila Alexis mamaya?”
Tanong ni Kael sa amin. We’re all here sa student council office.
“Yeah, hahabol ako don. Of course, susupportahan ko mga besties ko.”
Sagot ni Lacson, as I expected. Dati kasali din naman siya sa team nila, but then niyaya ko siya na maging Vice President ko.
“Sama kami.”
Sagot ng iba kay Lacson. She nodded and they started talking about sa call time nila.
“How about you, Miss President?”
“What?”
“Pumunta ka na, Alexis expects na pupunta ka don.” Lacson teased me again, I rolled my eyes.
“We will expect you there, Ash.”
“Do I really need to watch them? Eh mananalo pa rin naman sila.”
I said, kahit naman kasi hindi na ako manood sila pa rin naman ang mananalo.
“We have a golden trio, so I don’t need to watch.”
“Oh c’mon, Ash as support of course. Mas better kung nandoon ka.”
Pamimilit ni Lacson, I sighed and took my phone. I checked if may schedule ba ako mamayang gabi. And when I saw na wala pumayag na lang rin ako.
After finishing my paperworks sa school naisipan ko na umuwi na dahil may pupuntahan pa ako mamaya. We don’t have classes ngayong araw kaya maaga ako makakauwi.
I was walking papunta sa car ko when somebody held my wrist kaya nagulat ako. That person pulled me papunta sa may tagong lugar dito sa parking lot.
I’m about to scream for help when that someone put their hands over my mouth kaya napatingin ako agad sa taong yun. Nagsalubong ang kilay ko when I saw Alexis.
She’s wearing a grey hoodie and a mask. Hindi ko alam kung anong trip niya sa life because of her outfit. Nakilala ko lang siya dahil sa eyes niya.
Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin bago tanggalin ang kamay niya sa bibig ko. She put her mask down and smiled at me.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
I was irritated, kinabahan pa ako kanina dahil akala ko kung sino na yun.
“Sorry for scaring you, I was just here to remind you.”
