As I expected, after that incident happened. I know that she will avoid me because of what I’ve said to her.
I can’t blame her dahil masakit naman talaga yung sinabi ko. But tulad nga ng sabi niya, alam niya naman na wala siyang chance, so she stopped liking me.
Mas maganda na lang din na ibaling niya kay Henry yung admiration niya kaysa sa akin. Though, Henry is not worthy of her and speaking of him, he’s still pursuing me.
He always gives me flowers at my office and he also follows me everywhere. Makapal rin kasi mukha nito kahit naka-ilang rejection na siya hindi pa rin tumitigil.
Other than that, I’m also trying my best na hindi kami makita na magkasama ni Henry because everybody here at school would think that we’re dating.
“Bakit ba ayaw mo sa’kin?”
I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself down. This man has been really testing my patience.
“I’m the standard here at school.”
“Hindi lahat ng mga babae dito nagkakandarapa sayo.”
I irritatedly said, pake ko ba kung half of the students nababaliw na dahil sa kanya. Immune ata ako sa charm nito.
“Buti pa si Alexis, she likes me.”
I
heard him mention Alexis’ name. Di pa rin talaga mawala yung guilt na nararamdaman ko.
“But of course, ikaw gusto ko.”
“Please, just stay away from me!”
Inis kong sagot, iritang-irita na ako sa lalaking to eh. I stood up and walked away palabas ng office with my papers.
While I was walking in the hallway napansin ko si Alexis from afar na naglalakad papunta sa cafeteria.
Break time ata nila from training because she’s sweating. Pumunta ako agad sa cafeteria and saktong paglapit ko sa counter ay nandoon rin siya.
Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa and to my surprise she gave way for me.
“You first.”
She said, I nodded na lang and as what she said, ako nauna sa pila. I just bought a drink before going to the table nearby.
I sat there and continued my work as a president, maraming upcoming events and projects na kailangang paglaanan ng funds.
I also need to prepare an accomplishment report before ipasa to sa head.
Busy ako sa ginagawa ko nung may mapansin akong umupo sa harapan ko. Hindi ko na lang pinansin dahil baka siguro walang maupuan. It’s fine with me naman.
“You look stressed.”
Napaangat ako ng tingin and I saw Alexis, sitting in front of me. She smiled at me slightly before niya ilapag yung iniinom niyang energy drink sa lamesa.
“Don’t let yourself drown too much sa duties mo.”
“Why?”
“Because you look so stressed na, and it’s not good for your health na mas inuuna mo yang pagiging president mo than yourself.”
