Sydney, Damian, Imani, Lona and Sky all sat in the police department building, waiting for Jayceone and Xavier to be released.

Sky sat on Damian's lap, eating skittles "Why we here daddy?" She asked, looking at him. "Jay in trouble?"

"Yea baby girl, he in big trouble" Damian answered.

"This mean he gets pow pow?" Sky asked as a smile spread across her face. Everyone smiled "Cause I get pow pow when I in trouble"

"No, he's not getting a pow pow" Sydney said "But he is getting my foot in his a-"

"stronomer" Imani interrupted "No cursing mom, she repeats stuff"

"Damn, I know"

A loud buzzing sound went off and s9n, Jayceone and Xavier walked out with an officer in front of them. "Jay!" Sky yelled, running over to him "Daddy say you get a pow pow"

"Don't lie on me Sky, I ain't say that"

Sydney took Sky away from Jayceone and grabbed him by his shirt, pulling him away from everyone else. "This what we do now? Get arrested?" She asked, folding her arms over her chest.

"Ma I didn't think I'd be arrested"

She slapped him in his head "The fuck you thought would happen? Going after that boy and beating him up?" She whisper yelled "Jay your almost 18, you can't be doin shit like this cause next time, your ass going to jail and I'm not coming down here to get you"

"I know ma, I'm sorry. I was just pissed off that he put his hands on her. Did you see the shi- stuff he did to her. I couldn't let that slide, that's my girl"

Sydney shook her head and smirked "Your girl huh?"

"Naw, I meant like girlfriend. Like a girl, that's a friend. I had to do something since I didnt protect her from what he already did" Jayceone explained.

"I understand what you saying Jay ok? But don't ruin your life for someone who might not be worth it"

"She's worth it, trust me" Lona walked over and joined the conversation "Wassup Lona"

She threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tight "I'm so sorry Jay. I'm glad you're ok" She pulled away and turned to Sydney. "I'm sorry this happened, I never thought he would've went out and beat him up, then get out in this place"

"Its ok sweetie, just don't let it happen again. Next time, come to me first. I'm always here if you want to talk"

Xavier continued his conversation with Damian when his eyes moved over to Imani, who had her head down and played with her fingers.

Damian followed his gaze "She been worried bout you the entire week"

"I ain't mean to scare her or worry her" Xavier said "I can talk to her?" Damian nodded and walked off towards Sky, Jayceone and Sydney and Lona.

Xavier walked over to Imani and sat next to her. He grabbed her hand, getting her attention "I get attention from everybody else, except the person I wanted attention from" he smirked at her, playing with her fingers.

Imani smiled a little "Sorry. I'm glad you're ok"

"Damn, that's all I get? No hug, kiss, nothing?"

Imani laughed and threw her arms over his neck. "I missed you"

"I missed you too. I heard you was worryin about me"

"Yea, I was. I didn't know if you were being fed or beat up. Raped, nothing"

"You watch too much locked up" Xavier laughed "But it was iight, the food nasty as fuck, ain't nobody try me and I damn sure ain't get raped. You know who I am?"

She giggled "Well those were the thoughts running through my head"

He threw his arm over her shoulders and pulled her closer, kissing her temple "I appreciate you worryin about me though baby"

"So about this dinner" she smiled a little "I don't work Saturday, so at 8?"

"Cool, we can go to that restaurant on 112, that's ok?"

"That's perfect"

Loud yelled and screaming could be heard coming from the front of the department and when the double doors were pushed open, Xavier's mom and dad walked in.

"Xavier, get the fuck up and let's go" his mom yelled. When Xavier didn't move, she charged over to him and pulled Imani away roughly.

Sydney put Sky down and ran over, pushing Xavier's mom "Don't put your hands on my daughter like that"

"Your daughter got my son put in jail"

"Know the facts before you accuse bitch" Sydney tried leaped at her, but Damian held her back.

Xavier's mom rolled her eyes and looked at Xavier "Get up and let's go, now"

"Why? What's the problem?" Xavier asked, walking towards Imani. With his back turned to his mom, he grabbed Imani's hand "You're ok?"

She nodded.

"Xavier, son. Come on before your mom blows a vessel" his dad said calmly. Xavier looked back "Come on"

"I'll see you Saturday, right?" He asked Imani, smiling at her. She nodded and smiled back. Leaning in, he placed a soft kiss on her lips. Even though it was simple, it left them both wanting more.

"Xavier!" His mom yelled.

"I'll see you Saturday X" Imani let go of his hands, and watched as he walked towards the door with his mom yelling and dad following behind.
