"Sky, did u eat yet?" Imani asked, walking down the stairs with her backpack in hand.

"Yes, oatmeal. Lolo made it" she said, watching Sprout "I get a juice please?"

"Yea, I'll get it" setting her backpack down on the couch, Imani walked into the kitchen to find her mom and dad. "Hey, y'all still leaving?"

"Yea, in a few" Damian said. Their anniversary is in a few days and they decided to travel to key west "Who all u having over while we gone?"

"Nobody" Imani shrugged grabbing a juice out the fridge for her and Sky.

"Yea? Wassup with u and Xavier?" Sydney asked, leaning against the counter "Something happened?"

"No, but he's always here. I thought daddy ment someone other than him"

"Good, cause I like y'all together but if he fuck up again" Damian trailed off, shaking his head.

Imani laughed "What daddy? What u gonna do?"

"Don't test me" he smirked. "Now leave. Your momma and I talkin"

"Probably about having sex" Imani mumbled.

"At least u know" Damian yelled after her making her laugh again. Imani sat down beside Sky and passed her a juice "U do homework Mani?"

"Yea, u want to help?" Sky nodded and scooted closer to her. Imani opened her math book to the page she had to work on and Sky looked at it. "So what am I suppose to do?"

Her tiny eyes scanned over the page "Ask mommy and daddy Mani, I don't know" she shrugged.

Imani laughed "Thanks for the help"

Xavier stepped from the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. After he got dressed in his night clothes, he walked downstairs and into the kitchen to find Damian and Sydney.

"Am I messing up your game?" He asked Damian.

"No, u could never mess up my game youngin" they all laughed.

"Iight u got me" he grabbed a bottle of water and opened it "So I got y'all a il something as a gift for your anniversary"

"U didn't have to do that" Domain chuckled.

"Shut up, what is it?" Sydney smiled, cupping her hands together. Out his picket, Xavier pulled out a 2 for 4 night ticket for the hotel Damian and Sydney were staying at. "Thanks baby, now we can stay longer"

"Iight that's all, I'll leave y'all alone now" Plopping down on the couch, Xavier threw his arm over Imani's shoulder. "Its been awhile since I took u out somewhere"

"Yea it has, but that's ok. I know how u don't like being out in public that much" Imani mumbled while still working.

"But I know how much u like going out"

"Just when a new movies out, that's about it. Oh, and to the fair and the beach."

"See what I mean?" Xavier chuckled making Imani smile "U work tomorrow?"

"No, but I'm staying after school with Mr.B for a little help"

"When u get home, make sure your dressed so we can go somewhere. Nowhere specific, just out. That's cool?" He asked.

"Yea, but we have to bring Sky. Jay works late tomorrow and I don't know when Lona gets off"

Xavier nodded, turning his attention to the TV show Sky was watching.
