A knock came at the door and Jayceone walked in with a nervous, yet serious look on his face "Ma, u in here?" He yelled through her room.

Sydney came out the bathroom, trying her hair up "Wassup baby?"

"There's something important I need to talk to u about" the tone of his voice made Sydney stop walking, and look at him.

Jayceone walked and sat on the edge of the bed and Sydney sat next to him "What's going on Jay? Everything ok?"

"Yea, things are good" he smiled "Lona and I are together"

"Aw, finally. Y'all was always playing games"

They laughed "well its about Robert. He's been pushin up on Lo more and more since she came from the hospital and since he owns her, there's really no way for her to escape. I've been having these thoughts, and I was wondering if u and pops could help me make one happen"

"U mean kill Robert?"

Jayceone nodded and Sydney stood to her feet, pacing in front of him. "Jay, killing someone isn't something that's done easily. And its not a way to get rid of people who've done u wrong"

He sighed, running his fingers through his dreads "I know momma, but whenever I see him around her, I want to do it. Whenever he touches her, looks at her. I just want her to feel safe, and as long as he's alive, she won't"

"I understand baby" she sat down and rubbed his back "Listen, what me and your father did in our past was something we wanted to stay there. I never wanted my kids to know about it, let alone have some part of it" she sighed "But your not doing this for selfish reasons, so I'll think about it. Let me talk to your father, and see what he says"

Jayceone let out a shaky sighed "Iight, thanks ma" standing up, he pulled her into a hug and sniffed her hair "U smell like berries" he mumbled.

Sydney laughed and pushed away from the hug "Boy get out"

"U and dad still down for game night tonight? Sky wants to play that Michael Jackson game" he said,backing towards the door.

"Yea, we'll play" she said before the door closed. Walking downstairs, Jayceone sat beside Lona while Xavier and Imani sat on the other.

Sky sat on Imani lap and played with the design on her shirt "Mani, I get my feet done like u?" She asked.

"What color u want?"

"Um, pink"

"Me, u and Lolo can all go tomorrow. How that sound?"

Sky looked back at Lona "U coming Lolo?"

"Of course, and I'll get pink just like u" she smiled. "Your playing with us tonight?"

"Yes, Jay said we play Jack game"

Everyone laughed "U mean Michael Jackson?" Xavier asked.

"That's what I say" a loud bang came from upstairs and footsteps running down. Sydney ran into the living room laughing with Damian behind her.

"Damian, quit" Sydney laughed, holding her hands up so he wouldn't come any closer. Sky hopped from Imani's lap.

"Daddy stop it" turning around, Damian revealed the clown makeup he had on. Sky screamed and ran upstairs, making everyone laugh.

"That's not funny, u scared my baby" Sydney slapped his arm "Take that shit of your face" she smiled. Damian walked into the kitchen "Sky, baby come back down here"

"No, daddy scary" she yelled.

"He's gone baby girl" Jayceone yelled. A few seconds passed and tiny footsteps come down the stairs and Sky runs over to Jayceone. She sat in his lap and his her face in his chest. "Your scared of clowns?"

"Yes" she mumbled.

"She get that from her scry ass momma" Damian walked out the kitchen, wiping his face with a wet napkin. Sydney grabbed it, and finished it for him.

"I guess I get it from her too" Imani said.

"U scared of clowns?" Xavier asked.

"Hell yea she is. I remember one year we went to a circus, and she almost punched the clown in the face" Jayceone laughed. Xavier started laughing too along with everybody else.

"I was a baby" Imani mumbled.

"U were 14" Sydney said, finishing cleaning Damian's face "Alright, so we gonna start this game or what?"

"Let's do teams" Lona stood up "Girls against boys" she smiled.

"Y'all gon lose, but ok" Xavier stood up and so did Jayceone.

"Sky, me, Imani and Lolo against y'all" Sydney smiled.

"Hold up, that's 3 on 4. That's cheating" Damian said as he set up the Wii. "Somebody got to sit out"

"Nope, 4 on 3" Sky said as Lona picked her up "Can we beat?"

"U mean bet baby girl, and yea let's do that. If we win, y'all have to buy us any ice cream we want" Sydney said.

"And if we win, y'all have to cook 2 of our favorite foods. Each" Jayceone added.

"2 dishes compared to 1 flavor of ice cream? No" Lona said "2 dishes and 2 pints of ice cream, each"

"Deal" the guys said together.
