The body of Anthony dropped to the floor as his blood quickly spilled from his lifeless body.

Imani opened her eyes and let out a shakily sigh. "Sky, u ok baby girl?" She nodded as a look of fear stuck to her face. "Lona?"

"Yea, yea I'm fine" she stuttered.

Tucking their guns back into their waistband, Scooby and Trigga walked closer to the body on the floor. Squating and grabbing a handful of Anthony's hair, Scooby lifted his head.

"This Anthony?" Trigga asked. Both girls nodded as the head smacked back against the floor. "Go on to Damian, we'll handle this and the cops"

"X, can I talk to u?"

The couple walked a short distance away from Lona and Jayceone "How u feelin?" She asked.

He shrugged "Kind of numb"

"Well there's something I want to show u" she smiled, grabbing his hand. Getting on the elevator, they got off on the 3rd floor. "The doctor said your mom was stabbed in her lower back, around her spinal cord. Meaning she might be paralyzed from the neck down"

He squeezed her hand a little "Is she?"

She smiled wide as the stood at Rochelle's room door. Imani opened the door and Xavier saw his mom sitting up on the edge of the bed.

"Ma" he smiled wide before walking completely in the room and hugging her tight "I'm glad u ok"

Imani closed the room door and waited across the hall.

"Of course I'm ok. Don't u know I'm a soldier?" She smiled.

"U can move? Clap your hands"

"Boy I'm fine ok? Just need a wheelchair until my tissue heals." His mom looked passed him "Where's Imani?"

"In the hall I think"

"Tell her to come here"

"No your not about t-"

"Boy, do as I said"

Xavier sighed and walked towards the door, opening it to find Imani sitting on the small bench looking down at her feet.

"Baby, come here"

Looking up, she frowned a little "Why?"

"Momma wants to see u"

"Xavier, u know she doesn't like me"

"Just come here, please"

Even though she didn't want to, Imani stood up and walked inside the room to see Rochelle smiling at her.

Nervous and scared, Imani kept her distance. "I know me and u didn't get off on the right foot, and I apologize because it was my fault" his mom started "Your actually not as bad as I thought. Your prettier than the other girls I've met, and your much nicer and smarter. And I'm glad u and Xavier are together"

Imani couldn't help but smile as she quickly wrapped her arms around Rochelle, making her and Xavier laugh.

"Ok baby, that's enough" Xavier smiled.

Imani pulled away and giggled "Sorry, I'm just really happy"
