Everyone except Imani and Sky stood in Lona's hospital room. Since she kicked her mom out, she hasn't been back yet and that's just how she likes it.

Everyone was happy to see she was up and talking. She seemed happier then usual but it wasn't brought up. "So are u going to live with your mom?" Xavier asked, sitting by her bed.

"Never has that thought crossed my mind" she smiled "If its ok with Sydney and Damian, I'll love it if I could stay there still"

"Of course that ok sweetie" Sydney smiled.

"Your always welcome as long as u make those brownies I like" Damian added. Everyone laughed "So Wassup with y'all two?" He shirked, drawing attention to Jayceone holding her hand and playing with her fingers.

"Nothing" he shook his head.

"He just missed me" she smiled.

The room door opened and Sky jumped from Imani's arms, running over to Lona.

"Lolo, I miss u so much" she climbed on the bed and hugged Lona tight "We play tag now?"

"Not now Sky. She doesn't feel good" Imani walked into the room, closing the door behind her. She kissed her dad and mom on the cheek before hugged Lona and flicking Jayceones neck before taking a seat by her dad and Jayceone.

"I be your doctor. Say ah" Sky said, imitating what her doctor tells her "Say ah Lolo"

"Sky, come here" Sydney laughed, grabbing her "She's hurt baby, she needs to sleep"

"But she not sleep" Sky shrugged. Damian smiled and looked at Imani, who's attention was on Lona. He then looked at Xavier, who's attention was on Imani.

"Xavier, let me talk to u real quick" he said, struggling to stand up.

"Some bodies getting old" Imani laughed.

"No, your momma laid it down g- never mind"

"Y'all nasty" Jayceone laughed as Damian and Xavier closed the door as they stepped into the hall.

Walking to the small bench across from the room, then men took a seat "How are u Xavier?"

"I'm alright sir, u?"

Damian chuckled "Sir? What happen to first name basis?"

"Well I thought that since Imani and I aren't on good terms, neither are u and I" he cleared his throat, growing nervous.

Everybody knows about Damian's and Sydney's past as just rumors, but Xavier sure didn't want to find out if they were true.

"I'll be honest. When I found my daughter crying her eyes out over u, I wanted to grab my gun and come looking for u. But I didn't. I'm disappointed in u Xavier, I was rooting for u thinkin u were one of the good guys"

"I am one of the good guys. I'd never even thought about being with another girl since Imani noticed me. I've been focused on her. On us"

Xavier sighed and ran his fingers through his s-curl "ok, I was working when Ariana walked in with her friends. She'd been coming in for a few days just to bother or tempt me"

"And were u tempted?"

"No sir, I even fought against looking at her outfits. Usually, she doesn't buy anything. But this time, she asked for a size 8. I went to the back to get them and she followed me. Grabbed my d-"

Being a man, Damian could replay exactly what Xavier said in his head. Everything seemed legit "Has she texted u before what happen?"

"Yea, the first time she came to my work, after she left she text me. And the night I took Imani for pizza, she sent me a naked picture that Imani saw. That's what ended the date so early"

"U said for Imani to look, or she did on her own?"

"I told her too. I didn't have nothing to hide, I still don't." Xavier sighed "I just don't know what to do. I've spent 3 years trying to get Imani to notice me and when she does and actually gives me a chance, this shit happens"

"That's how shit goes Xavier, but if u really want Imani back, u can't stop trying. U been having around this Ariana girl around school?"

"Not really. I'd he with my niggas, then she'll come over with her girls. I just ignore her like she ain't there"

"No, that needs to stop" Damian said "If Imani thinks u cheated with her, then sees u hanging around with her, that doesn't look too good on your part. Start thinking like a woman, and look at the what ifs and the bigger picture instead of the actual thing"

Damian stood up and Xavier followed "I'm still rooting for u Xavier, I don't like u as much as I did before but your still my favorite out of them other niggas she been with. But next time I catch her crying over u cause u cheated again, its me and u"

"It don't happen again" he smiled.
