They called for a server storm and that is exsactly what we have.
The winds are blowing high and hard, the rain was pouring down, thunder was booming, & lighting was hitting everywhere.
I had managed to make a fast trip to the store and grabbed a whole lot of food, drinks, and led candles as well as flash lights.
Now I had them on hand in case we have a power outage which with how things are getting worse it will be happening.
I just turned on the last led candle when the power cut off and the kids screamed.
I grabbed the candles and walked up the stairs and headed to their rooms.
"Come on loves lets go and sit in the living room and entertain our selves" I tell them
As they walk out of their room I hand them a candle.
"Mommy what made the power cut off?" Liddia Harry's and I's second to youngest baby asked
"Well they storm is picking up and light hit one of the power lines which made us loose power" I tell her as we all head downstairs and they climb into the fort that we had made earlier in the day.

I grabbed my lap top and logged on before I found one of their favorite cartoons and I placed it to where they all could see it.
"Now mommy will be making some finger sandwhiches for everyone so I need you all to stay right in the fort. it's dark and I don't want any of you getting hurt" I tell them
"We will stay right here mommy" AMethyest said
I smiled and grabbed a flash light and headed into the kitchen and grabbed all the incedents from the ice chest. I grabbed some paper plates,sippy cups, and three regualr cups.
"I am home" HArry called out
"in the kitchen" I called back
I could hear him walk into the living room and greet the kids before he made his way into the kitchen.
"Hello there sexy mommy" he greets as he wraps his arms around me and kisses my neck and then cheek before I turn and look at him and peck his lips before turning back to my task at hand.
"How was work baby?" I asked as I finished up the sandwhiches before I put some chips on the plates and filling up the cups.
"It was good all the way till we had a power outage which seems to be what happened here."
I nodded my head as I twisted the lids on tight and started tucking cups into my arms and grabbing plates while Harry did the same and followed me out.
I handed the kids their plates and drinks as Harry did the same before I headed back and grabbed the last two cups while Harry grabbed the last cup and flashlight.

after words Harry and I tossed the trash and tucked the sleeping babies in before we played with the older ones till it was time for them to go to sleep too.
Once all the kids was asleep close to us we cuddled up and watched a romcom which wasn't notebook. Even though Harry wanted to Watch it, picked both of our favorite Love actually.
"WHo in this movie is your favorite?"
" I have more then one favorite."
"ALright who all do you like?"
"Harry, daniel,Karen,Billy, the prime minister."
He chuckled
"Ironice how your main favorite's name is your husband and baby daddy's name" he said
I chuckled and looked at him.
"I know, and they are both british" I replied
He smiled and nodded.
We continued to watch our movie till the kids would wake minutes after each other to go use the bathroom. So Harry and I would take turns taking them to the bathroom.
After while Harry and I called it a night but not before we had some candle light love making.
