trivia on dinosaur train evolution: buddy's role

My story dinosaur train evolution mostly centers around buddy tyrannosaurus as he grows and as he defends the ones he cares about from valkyrie

But originally buddy was not like this originally buddy was just a normal kid and he would have tried to fight valkyrie but fail but i didn't want the main character to be this weak so i made him stronger

Later on when i prepared to write the story there was one thing i really regretted doing

Buddy was supposed to be the villlain

Yep i said that

Buddy the t rex that believes in hope was originally supposed to be the main villain of the series

And my reason for this is his savagery as you know in the start of the story buddy was suffering from something tyrannosaurus get when they grow to 14 years old

Its kinda like puberty but instead of his voice getting deeper he would act more aggressive and he would loose his sanity and go wild

I even remembered something about the original buddy's dialogue and be warned this is not the buddy you know in the actual story

Lets begin

Dinosaur Train Adventures beyond prototype: buddy goes wild

Buddy somehow got into the triassic period and he also encountered a suchomimus that also got here because of the dinosaur train

Buddy roars at it and they fight for a while until buddy defeated it by breaking its neck

Tiny and the other pteranodons find buddy eating the suchomimus

"buddy!" tiny screamed as buddy turned and his eyes were no longer green they turned red

"what are you doing?! This isn't you!" tiny said as buddy was growling like an animal he wasn't thinking properly all he could see through those red eyes were food

Suddenly he jumps at tiny and bites down on her wing and slams her down at the ground and roars at her

"buddy please" tiny pleaded

"enough of this!" terry suddenly charged into the fight and rammed buddy away

"we need to get out of here now" terry said as they all went to the dinosaur train

Buddy got up and chased them but before he could get then they went to the time tunnel and escaped buddy as he roars into the tunnel enough for tiny to hear

THE END

as you can see buddy acts more of an animal here and later on in the story he wouldn't appear until tiny lured valkyrie into the triassic and lured him to buddy

I hated this version cause buddy is the main character i cant just turn him into a monster and leave him out of the story until the final episode

So i did the opposite instead of the story barely focusing on him the actual story now fully focuses on him

What are your thoughts on this? Personally i prefer the buddy we have now because he actually contributes to the story

And i even gave the characters titles like these
