"HERE'S your phone Miss." Miss. Ouch.
He handed me my phone and I get it with my hands are shaking. After seven freaking years, I saw again the man that gave me my greatest nightmare! But I guess he doesn't remember me.
"T–thanks," I stuttered.
I scanned him from head to toe. Nash didn't change at all. He's the typical guy that I've met before who loves wearing a jacket, but he's not wearing eyeglasses anymore.
Napakagat ako ng labi. Hindi ba talaga niya ako naaalala? Ni hindi man lang ba siya nakaramdam ng koneksyon sa pagitan naming dalawa?
"Why you're scanning me, Miss?" he asked.
"Y–you really don't remember me N–Nash?"
He was about to answer, but a student came and his attention was shifted to him. The student gives him a bunch of papers.
"Sir! Eto na po 'yung take home activity namin sa Pre-Calculus." Nash gets those papers and smiled at the student.
"Thanks, Nack. Remind your classmates for our quiz tomorrow."
The student named Nack just nodded and he said that he will go back to his class. Now, I'm stuck again with Nash.
So, after he graduated senior high, he pursues education? Wow. I didn't even know that he wants to be a teacher. I asked him once, but he didn't tell me the answer.
Nash shift for me and he gave me a meaningful stare. His gray eyes are dazzling again. It electrifies me.
"I have to go to Miss, I have a class. Just be careful next time," he said and leave me in the hallway dumfounded.
Naiwan akong mag-isa sa hallway na nakanganga. Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwalang nakita ko ulit ang kaisa-isang lalaking minahal ko, bukod sa aking ama at kapatid.
Hindi ko alam kung ilang minuto ako nakatulala sa gawi kung saan naglakad papalayo si Nash. Napahawak ako sa aking puso at ramdam ko ang lakas ng tibok nito.
"Xeidrine!" napabalikwas ako nang mayroong tumawag sa akin.
Lumingon ako at nakita ko si Wen. Hingal na hingal siya at mukhang sumasakit ang kaniyang paa dahil sa heels. Nakalimutan kong kasama ko pala siya dahil kay Nash.
"Kanina pa kita hinahanap. Bakit ganiyan ang itsura mo at para kang nakakita ng multo?"
