Kris left the group.

It was shocking to me that the guy who had always been there for Exo, left them behind. Everything was so messed up because they just had a comeback and Kris's departure made it difficult for others to survive in between controversy.

"Did you know?"

I couldn't help but ask Sana one day and the expression she had that day was enough to tell me that she knew. I even had an argument with her that she should have informed others about it.

"There are lots of things which we don't know Eun Sang" she had held my shoulders and looked me in eyes "You can't behave emotionally. They need us"

"But why would Kris-"

"Don't think about Kris because he made his own decision to leave them and somewhere they know why he did that" she had replied "The smiles we see on their faces on stage isn't always the reality"

"What do you mean?" I had asked, confused yet scared of the darkness behind those shiny lights.

"Minseok doesn't tell us everything Eun Sang and it is not like I pressure him but with everything I've seen...Just try to act normal around them"

Exo's first concert was around the corner and they had to prepare everything from the start. I couldn't even imagine what they must be going through but Sana was right. I have to act normally for the sake of them.

I was preparing lunch for everyone as Sana had invited them over to have a healthy meal. They were working hard for concert and we were concerned about their health, so we kind of came up with this idea.

"Need a hand?" Luhan entered the kitchen and I gave him a grateful look. I and Luhan were kind of bubble tea friends, we would talk about random things over our frequent meetings and honestly they were best. He was a good guy and someone of my age, so my comfort level with him was better than others.

"Where's Sana?" he inquired.

"Oh she's out to get some groceries" I answered. I didn't know what to say to him about the current ongoing situation, so I kept my mouth shut as he helped me placing needed ingredients on the counter.

"Are you okay?" I couldn't help but ask after a brief pause "I mean you guys are working hard, it must be exhausting" I said and felt his stare on me.

"Eun Sang look at me" he said, softly and I sighed before turning to him "Oh my goodness, you're crying" he pointed out and I groaned, face palming myself.

It was embarrassing but I couldn't help it. Over the months I had grown close to these guys and seeing them smiling for everyone's sake while breaking inside, hurts me. I didn't know how they were so strong.

"I'm sorry" I mumbled and felt his arms around my shoulders as he pulled me in gentle hug "I'm sorry" I said, again, not even sure why I was apologizing.

"It's okay" he patted my back "We're okay. Don't be sad" he said and I cried harder because I knew it was not okay. They were not okay.

I haven't even talked to them personally after that incident and had avoid them with everything in me. I did not know how to act or what say to ease their pain. The people who were there for me at my worst were going through hard time but I, like a coward, couldn't do anything.

"Ssshh" he hushed me and I pulled back, wiping my tears away before looking at him.

"I'm sorry you're going through this" I hiccuped "I don't even know what to say or ask because I know you guys are not fine and telling you that everything is going to be okay would be a lie" I let out.
