"Everything will be fine"

I whispered and watched as Baekhyun closed his eyes, and fell asleep in my lap.

I glanced at Lay. "Where's Sana?"

He ran a hand down his face "She's with Suho downstairs. Thank you for handling Baek well" he gave me a tired smile and sat beside me.

"He's like my little brother" I glanced at Baekhyun "I wish they were careful" I said, referring to the scandal that just happened few weeks ago.

Baekhyun's relationship with Taeyeon was exposed to the world and the hate they both got was so unexpected, it almost made me afraid of Exo-ls to be honest. Why would they hate Taeyeon so much just because she was in relation with Baekhyun?

"It was supposed to happen today or tomorrow" Lay said and I frowned.

"What?"

"Baekhyun exposed his relationship himself so that spotlight could be turned to him rather than Kris's controversy" he explained and my mouth fell open in disbelief.

"Wh-What?"

"Yeah" he breathed out and looked at Baekhyun "He decided to go on that date, knowing really well that dispatch was following him"

"So, it was fake?" I inquired, my eyes wide open in shock.

"No" Lay shook his head "He likes Taeyeon generally. He just wanted to divert attention but it backslashed"

"I.. I can't believe this" I said, honestly "I mean I thought company-"

"Why would company fuel another scandal? Knowing that we were at do or die stage?" he smiled sadly "Baekhyun did it on his own and now he's just... regretting"

"Because Taeyeon is getting all the hate" I closed my eyes and then looked at Luhan, who had been standing by the door for a while now. "Does Sana know about it?"

"No" Luhan shook his head "We don't want to give her any idea if same situation comes to that with her" he said and came to me.

"It's messed up" I lowered Baekhyun's head to pillow and ran my fingers through his hair "You're so brave Baek" I whispered because it take guts to make these kind of sacrifices.

He was on point of every fan right now and some were even requesting to throw him out of Exo. I believe they were never his true fans.

"I'll just check up downstairs" Lay stood up and walked out of the room and Luhan sat on his seat. My mind went back to my best friend Sana. What if people would hate her for dating Minseok? She didn't even have security to protect herself.

"Sana will be fine. Don't worry" Luhan placed a hand over mine and I looked up at him "I know you are scared for your friend but believe me-"

"I don't want anything to happen to her" I said in a hushed voice as I took a hold of Luhan's hand "She's not even a superstar. What if your fans attacked her or something? She doesn't even have a security to defend herself and-"

"Hey, calm down" Luhan cupped my cheek and I gulped. His eyes were softly gazing into mine and I felt heat rush into my cheeks "We won't let it happen. Minseok and Sana's relationship won't get out until it's the right time" he assured.
