A few weeks later...

"Don't flinch you idiot, stay still," Lilly said, slightly tilting my head as she was torturing me with her bulky makeup kits that she's stocked up.

"How long, Ted. I'll have a neck sprain by tomorrow." I whine.

"Women! I'm the one who's doing all the work here, Can't you sit quietly for a few minutes."

"Minutes! sorry your mistaken, I'm sitting in the same position for hours, Ted." I sigh, so much to look presentable.

"It will all be worth it, please stay still for Liam's sake. Just imagine how he will react seeing you, today is the most important day for him and you are the most important person in his life. You have to look breathtaking."

She's right, today is the day Liam's dad will officially hand him over his business, he will be crowned as the CEO of the legendary Robert & Co. I have to look presentable enough to stand beside him. Who knows he might announce our relationship for the world to know.

"Done."

"Ugh, finally," I say and picked up my A-line embroidered tulle gown, matching V neck at the back with spaghetti straps. I've been dreaming of this dress for almost a week.

I gawked at myself looking at the mirror. This gown is so beautiful, I can't wait to see Liam's reaction.

I wore my transparent Guisseppe Zanotti stilettos that has a butterfly fixed on its head, like Cinderella shoes. Everything thing is perfect.

The only thing that's bugging me is, Liam personally didn't invite me, he just asked his assistant to give me a call. And that bastard is neither picking up my call nor replying to my messages. I'm gonna have to give him a good lecture tonight.

"You look like an angel straight from heaven." Lilly compliments while wiping her imaginary tears. "My baby girl's grown."

"Shut up, we're already late. So pack up all your dramatic tantrums, lock it in your closet, and walk out."

"Ouch, I'm hurt." She replied, and we walked towards her luxurious Limo.

"Is this necessary? I mean can't we go in a normal car?" I ask her.

"Nope. Get used to it after all you will be Mrs. Liam Roberts one day, and your Liam will spoil you rotten."

"Eh! whatever." I wave her off. We reached our destination and the entire place was buzzing with paparazzi and all the invitees were dolled up in their expensive designer attire.

I could see Emily and her boyfriend who is also her boss, posed for a few pictures together and walked away.

We entered the huge party hall that was beautifully decorated with flowers and humongous chandeliers that were dazzling.

I ran my eyes through the crowd to see if I could find him, but to my luck, I couldn't. But, I was able to see his dad and mom. We walked towards the bar where I ordered a glass of Daiquiri and Lilly ordered Old Cuban.

Just then Emily walks towards us "You look stunning, I'm sure your guy is gonna have a hard time keeping his eyes off you, Bri."

"I know." I wink at her "You look stunning your self and ohh, your guy is hot." I say to her fanning myself.

"Keep your eyes off him girl, he's mine." She counters possessively.

"Bu-" I was cut off by Lilly "Stop it guys." I roll my eyes.

The host of the party, Liam's dad starts to make his announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm extremely honored as you'll took time and graced us with your presence here tonight....." He rambles about his company and family legacy.
