I drove away pissed as ever.
Like always, anything I do with a guy gets brung up back into my face with my past along with it.
Harry was right. I am dense when it comes to guys and the girl's are too. But you know what, if I want to go have dinner with him in my pajamas, then I will. I am an adult, I am my ownself.
I drove around in the dark making my way towards Harry's apartment complex. I parked my car in a parking space and marched my way towards his door.
Fucking Emerald and her judgemental mouth.
I knocked on the door too harshly and tried to calm myself. Seconds later Harry answered the door and smirked.
"What took you so long?" Harry asked. "Arguement with my friends." I said like it was nothing. "Want to talk about it?" Harry asked walking into the kithen. "It was just stupid bickering." I said. "Like?" Harry persisted.
Like how you are no good for me and will use me for sex...
"Annoying drama." I said covering up. It's not a lie, but it's not exactly true. "That's why I don't have any girl friends. Harry said. "I can't say the same." I said sitting down on his couch.
"Guys aren't exactly less drama either." Harry admitted. "How?" I asked. "We're all competative fuckers. We make anything out of a game to see who wins. When we fight it's not like some pussy shit you girl's do where we sit and bicker at the each other. No, we just go straight forward and beat the shit out of each other." Harry said getting a beer out of the fridge.
"Want anything?" Harry asked. "Water?" I questioned. "I'll take that as a beer." Harry said getting up from the couch. I didn't asnwer back.
Harry came back with a bottle with light blue liquid in it. "I remebered I had wine coolers as well so I thought you'd rather have that than beer." Harry said.
Why is he being so nice?
"Well thank you." I said sipping on the cold liquid. "You're not trying to get me drunk are you?' I asked. Harry snapped his neck at me. "No." He said coldly.
I change my mind on the kindness.
"I'm sorry-" "Look Lacey I don't know what you think of me, but I am not and will not get you drunk." He said darkly. "Okay sorry, you just gave me the alcohol and thought-" I paused thinking I should just shut my mouth. Harry gave a dirty look and sighed.
Well us being civil lasted long...
"So do you work?" I asked trying to change the subject. "Obviously. How in the fuck would I pay for this shit hole." Harry said in dsigust looking around the apartment. I kept quiet. He could always clean it for once to make it be at least decent.
"Why don't you just move out?" I aksed. "Because it's not that easy." Harry said like it was obvious. "Well maybe-" "Look, I've looked everywhere around here in my price range for a god damn one bedroom apartment and these shit holes were my only luck."
"Why not look for a two bedroom apartment and have someone else move in with you?" I suggested. "Like I said Lacey, it's not that fucking simple." Harry muttered. I could tell he was getting irritated but I was just trying to help.
Talking about apartments reminds me, I need to look for my own as well.
"Do you have a computer?" I asked out of curiosity. "Yeah why?" He asked irritated. "Am I able to use it?" I asked trying to get to the point. "Why?" He deadpanned. "I need to do some research." I stated. "What type of fucking research do you need to do when you don't even go to school." "Looking for homes." I said.
