Not Thinkin' Bout You

Chapter 64

PREVIOUSLY: "Well, I was a bit harsh when we talked last. When I told you that Zach wasn't good for you," he began, taking a deep breath and shaking his head. "I guess I was... jealous. I didn't want you to be with him, I wanted you to be with me," Jonah added. Ellody's stomach lurched and she put a hand over her mouth, feeling as though she was about to throw up. Of course he still likes me. You can't lose feelings overnight - if anyone should know that, it's me.

 "I wasn't expecting you to say that, to be honest. I thought you were gonna try and convince me that he's not right for me again," Ellody admitted slowly, biting her lip.

"Yeah, sorry... I just thought you should know," he shrugged. He looked up and smiled, tilting his phone up, and Corbyn's forehead and eyes peeked at his phone.

"Ellody! What is up, dude?" Corbyn smiled, wiggling his eyebrows at her before sitting next to Jonah, his purple and blue Why Don't We hoodie appearing in the frame.

"Hey Corbyn, not much," Ellody replied, wondering if Zach had told the boys about them yet. Corbyn paused before bursting out laughing, standing up and walking away. He yelled something Ellody couldn't hear, and Jonah grinned.

"You're the awkward one! We were having a conversation, and you intruded," Jonah called to him. There was a sound like a door slamming, and Jonah smiled and looked back at his phone. "Sorry, Corbyn just... yeah. Where were we?" he asked. Ellody shrugged, deciding that it would be best to end this conversation. Corbyn was right, it was incredibly awkward. And Jonah had apologised... so there wasn't anything left to say.

"Was there anything else you wanted to talk about?" Ellody suggested, watching him run his fingers through his hair.

"Nah, just that I'm sorry for saying what I said. Is Zach on his way back?" Jonah asked. Ellody nodded, explaining that he had caught a flight that morning. An awkward minute later, Jonah said he had to go, and they quickly said goodbye. Ellody tossed her phone on the bed next to her and stared at the ceiling, wondering how Zach's flight was going and counting hours to figure out when he would land.

"We haven't talked in such a long time," Sienna commented, shaking the small bottle of black nail polish and glancing at her phone. Christina nodded, her face pixelated with the dodgy internet connection from Sienna's room.

"I know! And I can't wait to meet Jade, she's coming soon, right?" Christina replied, opening her face mask container and dabbing her applier brush in the mixture.

"Yeah, she should be here any minute now," Sienna nodded, her cheeks going slightly pink. Ellody pretended not to notice how happy Sienna became whenever someone mentioned Jade.

"So Ellody, how did everything go down with Zach? Corbyn mentioned that Zach ditched to visit you, and I'm guessing he left last night or this morning?" Christina asked, pasting the green mixture on her cheek. Ellody bit her lip and stared at the corner of the screen, where the edge of a frame just made it into the picture, and she knew it was a photo of Corbyn and Christina.

"Um... well, we're kinda... together now?" Ellody stuttered, avoiding looking at the camera. There was a second of silence as the lag took place before Christina began to shout.

"What did I say? What did I freaking say?" she yelled, a huge smile on her face. Sienna laughed, looking slightly uncomfortable.

"Whatever. You can say 'I told you so' as much as you like, they're together now and there's not a lot I can do about it," Sienna admitted, shoving Ellody's shoulder playfully before asking for her hand to paint her nails.

"OK, this is going to be the cutest thing ever," Christina added, smiling at Ellody. Ellody nodded, attempting to act like it was fine, but on the inside she was bursting. This is literally my dream. 

A~N ok ok i know this is short and i haven't posted in ages butttttt ~the next chapter may or may not be the last one before I start to release the sequel~ I'M SO EXCITED <<<33333 you guys are gonna love it !! i'll try to release the next chapter soon :))) ILY GUYS SM :))))
