Ellody's heart fluttered, and she couldn't think of a reply. After a few seconds of contemplating, she replied with a smile on her face.

ZACH: text me later im eating
ELLODY: ok love ya
ZACH: uno reverse ;)
"You two are so freaking cute," Christina commented, looking over her shoulder. Ellody turned her phone off and glared at her before giggling.
"I love him," Ellody blurted, smacking a hand to her mouth the second it came out. She turned bright red, unable to believe what she had just said out loud.
"Damn, Ellody," Tate laughed. They rolled to a stop at the traffic lights and Sienna turned around, raising her eyebrows.
"Wasn't expecting that," her sister smiled. Ellody buried her face in her sweater, hoping they'd move on to another topic very quickly.

"I'm in too deep... I never thought that you could be my underwater symphony," Ellody sang under her breath. Zach's voice poured out of the speaker as she braided the top of Tate's hair, planning to give her a half-up half-down look.
"I wish Gabbie was here. The holy friendship group would be complete," Tate muttered. Christina nodded, pulling up a photo of her, Gabbie and Tate on her phone.
"We're so cute. You two should've been there that day," Christina frowned.
"We were both swimming in schoolwork, there was no way mum was letting us," Sienna explained. Ellody nodded, remembering Zach offering for her to come, and they had to say no.
"OK, hair tie," Ellody instructed. Tate handed it to her, and Ellody tied the braid before brushing out the underneath. "Done!" she said.
"Damn, can my sister do hair or can my sister do hair?" Sienna grinned, scooting over the three beds packed into Ellody's room to get to the door. Once arriving home a week ago, the girls had pulled out the trundle and squished Sienna's mattress inside too. Ellody simply felt bad leaving her sister out, and after Tate insisted she stay with them, they moved it while she was at Jade's.
"I'm so hungry, what are we doing for dinner?" Christina asked.
"Chinese takeout," Sienna mumbled, eyes glued to her phone as she scrolled through her Instagram feed.
"Oh, good. I haven't had honey chicken in the longest time," Ellody sighed.
"How about we go for a walk first?" Tate suggested.
"And we can take photos," Christina added, pulling out her vlog camera and her phone.
"Sounds like a plan," Ellody grinned. The girls chose outfits and Ellody braided her own hair into two braids while Sienna ran off to do her makeup.
Twenty minutes later, the group were standing at the front door, waiting for Sienna.
"She always takes the longest to get ready," Ellody sighed, but that was a total lie. It was usually Ellody who spent forever in the mirror, fixing every little detail of her appearance before stepping outside the comfort of her bedroom walls.
