PREVIOUSLY: Kay rolled her suitcase out of his room, which was bursting at the zips, faster than Zach had ever packed even half a suitcase. The door shut, and it wasn't long before he was fast asleep.
ELLODY'S POV:
"Are you OK?" Christina whispered to Ellody, noticing her red, puffy eyes. Ellody nodded and wiped her eyes, hoping it wasn't too obvious that she and Jonah had broken up. "Tell me everything when I get back, OK? Have a self-care morning, I have a few face masks in my toiletries bag. It's in Corbyn's bathroom, you'll see it straight away," Christina explained.
"What would I do without my Mama Chickee?" Ellody giggled. Christina rolled her eyes and grinned as the rest of the group noisily joined them in the kitchen.
"Cry in the bath," she said, raising her eyebrows knowingly. Ellody felt attacked at how true and brutal that was, but it didn't last long. "Don't look like that, we both know I'm right. And we both know I love you. See you soon," she added, touching Ellody's arm for a few seconds before grabbing her bag and Corbyn's hand. They led the group out the front door, and it took Ellody a second to realise Zach wasn't with them. She frowned and put her breakfast dish in the sink, waking upstairs and attempting to find Corbyn's room.
After a few minutes of peeking into rooms that weren't Zach's or Jonah's, she found Corbyn's towards the end of the hall. Christina's suitcase must have exploded over his room, with Bitchee merch on his bed and makeup all over the bathroom vanity. The face masks were easy to find, and she took one into Jonah's room. As she shut the door, someone opened a door in the hallway and closed it before running downstairs. Ellody paused, wondering if someone had broken in, then remembered Zach hadn't left with the others.
Damn, I wish he would've stayed. Maybe I could've tried to make things up with him.

ZACH'S POV:
The boys were in the water before Christina had even made it down the beach. Zach hung back with her to help her pull out the towels and set up the snacks.
"Why didn't you go with them?" Christina asked, taking a seat on Corbyn's towel.
"I needed a minute, I'll join them in a second," Zach muttered, glancing out at all the guys in the water. His eyes landed on Jonah, and all he could think of was Ellody.
"You two need to talk," Christina said, rummaging through her bag. Zach frowned at the sand, wondering why she would want him to talk to Jonah.
"Why?" he mumbled.
"You haven't spoken in way too long, and I know she misses you. I also know you miss her," Christina pressed. Zach sighed, realising she meant Ellody.
"I guess... but she was the one who cut off our contact, and ended our conversations before they even really began," Zach explained. Christina shook her head, tipped her sunglasses down to look him in the eyes.
"But you let her. Anyway, go have fun. I want peace," she snapped. Zach smiled and left Christina, running down the beach with the wind whistling in his ears.

ELLODY'S POV:
"I thought he was going to cry," Ellody admitted, staring at the ceiling of Jonah's room.
"Poor thing... but are you OK?" Sienna asked. Ellody sighed, putting her sister on speaker so she could eat her breakfast burrito at the same time.
"I mean... I guess? I feel less guilty, it's a weight off my shoulders... now I just want to make things up with Zach," Ellody said.
"Good luck," Sienna replied. "I'm gonna go to Jade's, I'm bored," she added.
