PREVIOUSLY: "We gotta get out of here before I get fined," Zack muttered, accelerating and turning the car around. They drove around a corner and through a gate that Zach was sure wasn't supposed to be open for them before they entered the main car park and left the airport.
ELLODY'S POV:
It wasn't long before they were in the air and could get out their laptops. Tate pulled out her laptop and started playing her movie before Ellody even realised what was happening.
"Wanna watch a movie with me?" she suggested. Ellody nodded, watching Tate flick through all her Netflix options before choosing a romantic comedy Ellody had seen a thousand times before.
"I like this one," Tate decided. Ellody took one of her Airpods and put it in as Tate did the same. Ellody rested her head on the girl's shoulder, glad that she had someone looking after her.
"Me too," she whispered.
"Also, I feel like I should address the slight elephant in the room. Jonah and I are on a break, and we were on a break when you guys were together. I understand you're not together anymore, but I just thought I'd let you know," Tatum explained. Ellody hesitated before nodding.
"OK, I... I'm sorry. I thought he was what I wanted, but clearly I was..." she trailed off. Ellody had barely thought about Jonah since she made up with Zach, and she wished Tate hadn't mentioned it.
"Yeah, don't worry about it. Just thought I'd let you know," Tatum added, pressing play on the screen to begin the movie.

ZACH'S POV:
When we pulled up to the house, everyone was waiting out the front. Corbyn got straight out of the car and stretched, walking over to the rest of the guys. Zach sat in the back seat for a few seconds, trying to smell Ellody's perfume on his jumper, but it was practically gone. He sighed, massaging his head slowly. Why do we have to keep going our separate ways? Why can't we just do everything together?
"Zach, we're here," Zack Caspary added. He pushed open the car door and got out, shutting it softly behind him. The sun was bright, but there was a breeze that made Zach want a warm shower.
"You good?" Jack asked as Zach joined them.
"Yeah," he muttered. He pulled out his phone to see a text from Ellody's sister, Sienna.
SIENNA: it'll be ok. I'll text u the second she lands and i've got her
A weight Zach didn't realise was there lifted from his shoulders.
ZACH: thank you sienna
He typed she means the world to me, but deleted it. Too sappy.
"Kay?" Jack asked, nudging Zach. He shook his head and slid his phone in his pocket.
"Not today," Zach shrugged. Jack raised his eyebrows, looking slightly amused.
"A day Kay hasn't texted you? A day she's leaving you alone? Rare!" Jack teased. Zach rolled his eyes, but he was right. She usually texted every second of every day, much like Ellody. But somehow, he enjoyed getting the notification for Ellody a lot more than he did for Kay.

ELLODY'S POV:
The plane ride was quicker than any plane ride she'd ever taken - after Tate and Ellody had finished the two-hour-long movie, they'd sketched ideas for more BITCHEE merch for Christina (as a joke, of course), and talked about the whole situation with Zach, Ellody and Jonah in excruciating detail. After a while, Christina went back to her work, and Tate turned on another movie for her and Ellody to watch.
