Chapter 10

"Cheska?"

My eyes immediately left his shocked gaze when I heard Keith scream. I saw Tianna chuckling while holding Keith's arm, so she already caught Keith.

My first reaction was to run and just ignore Zion and his friend, Raven. But before I could even walk slowly, Zion caught my arm. I turned at his direction

He was smiling widely at me. His eyes were barely visible. His smile was so wide. It was comforting.

"I know a place to hide. Tara?" he winked at me before leading me in a direction I was not familiar

I can't help to stare at his hand holding my arm. Why is he doing this?

I halted. He stared at me, confused. He probably saw me staring at his hand in my arm, he slowly released his hold and scratch the back of his head, suppressing a smile.

"Why are you doing this?"

He looked confused. Me either. I was confused too.

The wind was blowing the few strands of my hair. I could also see some of his curly hair being swayed by the wind. He looked – no!

"We barely know each other. We just randomly met each other a random food chain. Why are you doing this? Acting like we know each other?"

His smile slowly faded. He now looked at me with a small smile. He slightly blushed and looked away.

For the past three weeks that we haven't saw each other. Plenty of realization hit me. I kind of questioned myself. He barely knew me. I barely knew him; I didn't even know he was the eldest son of multi-millionaire engineers until Ales randomly told me. In short, we barely know each other! But then I drove him to his condo and I even let myself slept there!?

Feeling ko medyo feelingera ako. Actually no, feelingera kaming dalawa. How could we act so close when we barely see each other! Did we even have a coherent conversation?!

These questions bothered me the whole three weeks and now that I have the chance to ask him, im not letting this go! Dapat mabaliw din siya kakaisip kung bakit pareho kaming feelingera!
