Chapter 10

We are sitting in the cafeteria inside the hospital. Mr. Williams excused himself to let me and Somi talk.

They visited Mina earlier however, the latter had an attack and collapsed after Somi talked to her.

She broke the silence. "I'm sorry about earlier. Didn't know Mina would react that way with my presence."

I took a sip on my coffee. "It's not your fault."

We haven't seen each other since that day I broke up with her and went straight to my grandma's province. Yes. I broke with Somi that day when Mina told me about Bambam.

I didn't believe her that time. I thought that she just wanted me and Somi to break up. But it actually didn't matter. I was even happy knowing that Mina might love me as well. I can tell on the way she responded with my kisses that night.

What made me mad is that she doesn't have to make up stories like that. She could just tell me to leave Somi for her and I will be more than willing to oblige. So I left.

But before leaving. I met up with Somi. I broke up with her. She cried but she said she understands. She knows. She's just waiting for me to realize. I felt guilty for doing that to Somi. So I decided to take my time.

Grandma's place has no signal. I went to town one time just to inform Jihyo-unnie that I'm doing fine. I stayed there and didn't contact anybody for 5 days.

When me and grandma went together to town to buy groceries. I received a call from Tzuyu.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU SON CHAEYOUNG?" She shouted.

"What? I already informed Jihyo-unnie that-"

She cut me off. "Mina needs you. She was shot by Bambam. She's in coma for 2 days now. Get here ASAP or you won't be able to see her again in this lifetime."

"Hey, you alright? " Somi interrupted my thoughts.

"Yeah. Just... thinking." I sighed. "Anyways, how are you? I heard you were in detention for 5 months."

"Hmm, yeah. I'd have to cooperate. A lot of data are still carefully hidden by Bambam. It took me a lot of time to uncover everything. That kid. He even killed our Dad for him to grab the seat immediately."

She looked at me. She is really hesitant to say something. "He.." She paused. "He really loves Mina."

She then took a small pocket notebook. It was Bambam's. "It's his ledger. It tells everything." She handed it to me but I declined.

"I know. It's fine." I smiled. "He's already gone. He did something wrong but he already paid for it."

Somi smiled sadly. He is still her brother after all. "I'm sorry. Let's just not talk about him." She nodded in agreement.

I loathe the guy. I can't forgive him for what he did to Mina. To us. He even managed to make me suffer for 6 months right after he died.

A few more minutes and Somi decided to leave. I waved them goodbye and went straight back to Mina's room only to find it empty.

My heart beats so fast in nervousness. She can't be!!

I ran around looking for her. Went to every nurse stations in every floor but they didn't saw her. I even went to the security's room to look into their CCTV's but they're not letting me. I have to ask permission to the Chairman or whoever it is.

She couldn't have gone outside the hospital.

I was panting near the lift of her room floor when a kid grabbed my pants.
