Now I'm sitting in front of you again in English. We've long past our unit of Romeo and Juliet, so you haven't really been a distraction anymore.

The whole cafeteria went silent. Hence I knew what was coming.

You told me it'd be forever! What happened huh? Did you really want that?

But I don't love you. I never did! I don't want you! My blood started to steam.

You flinched at the words running out of her mouth. What do you mean?

She laughed! She still dared, make fun of you. Do you honestly believe I would want you? I have someone else. You'd NEVER be the only one do you hear me? NEVER. Now leave me alone!

And with that she ran out. And you started to have tears building up. I had such an urge to just go after you. To tell you 'I love you.' To let you know how I feel. But I fought it with so much might, it stung my eyes.

I was sure that rumor would be the rumor of the week.

So I just backed away.

Maybe it was wrong.

Maybe you didn't deserve it.

Maybe I didn't either.

Maybe I was just tired of all the rejection.

Maybe it's better if I give up.
