I went to the bakery early in the morning to take Y/n's birthday cake that I ordered one week earlier before I came back home from overseas. After that, I went to the flower shop which had just opened by the time I got in. I bought Y/n's favorite flower, yellow daisies.

As soon as I parked in front of Y/n's company, I was searching for the gifts that I got for Y/n in my car. Well, guess what?

I'm so excited about how I wanted to celebrate and spend my time with her on her birthday, that I forgot to bring the gifts that I placed on the top of my kitchen table this morning. "Just great." I sighed softly before picking up my phone and calling Y/n. But she doesn't pick it up. So I went up to her office, only to find she was sleeping on her couch.

I put everything on top of her black modern coffee table and crouched in front of her. She looks so cute and peaceful with her eyes closed. I brought up my hand slowly then poked her slightly chubby cheek softly with my index finger. She only gave me her grimaced face in response. It made me smile a little.

I poked it again while grinning stupidly, "Stop it, Jen." I swear, it made my heart stop for a moment when she said that. So I stared at her blankly. Jen? Even in your sleep, you think about her?

I hate this.

*Rose's Apartment
Y/n

I've been standing nervously in front of her apartment's door for almost an hour now. She didn't pick up my calls or reply to my text. I looked down at the things that she brought for me. It got me worried when she didn't even want to talk with me.

I pressed her doorbell cautiously before sighing softly. Her door being opened abruptly made me startled a bit.

There's my girlfriend standing in front of me, smiling happily before suddenly looking away and softly frowning, slightly pouting while crossing her arms over her chest.

Is she... sulking?

"Hi babe. Um can I come in?" she then only glanced at me and walked into her apartment so I just followed her, not forgetting to close the door behind me securely and locked it.

I put everything on her island table and approached her who was sitting on her couch. "Thank you for all of those. I... I don't even remember today is my birthday..." That made her look up to me.

"What? Seriously?" I just nodded softly before sitting beside her. "So what's wrong? Am I doing something wrong? You didn't answer my phone calls or reply to any of my text messages. Did I... hurt you or what? More importantly, don't say that you're okay 'cause I totally can see that you're sulking right now, babe."

She just rolled her eyes in annoyance before landing her head on my shoulder after she pulled me closer to her by my elbow. "It's just... my silly feelings, Y/n. I'm okay now that you're here." Rosé whispered. "What do you mean by your silly feelings?" I asked her calmly. "Ugh, I miss you."
