During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Stendhal is one of many Jedi sent to Kashyyyk to repel the Separatist Droid attack on the Wookies. Stendhal was paired up with Clone Commander Faie and his unit. They would provide reinforcements to the 41st Elite Corps. Stendhal had clashed with Faie on multiple occasions due to Faie's downright blind obedience and borderline inhumane tactics.  After destroying a Separatist Army on Rwookrrorro, Stendhal contacts Grand Master Yoda via comlink.

Stendhal: Master Yoda, we've eliminated all Separatist forces on Rwookrrorro.

Yoda(Holoprojection): Very good, Knight Stendhal. Done well, you have. Proceed to Kachirho, you will.

Stendhal: I shall make haste, Master Yoda.

After speaking with Master Yoda, Stendhal turned to Commander Faie and the rest of the Clones under his command.

Stendhal: We move for the city of Kachirho to aid Master Yoda and the rest of the 41st Elite Corps. I want this operation done quick and clean.

Faie: You heard the Jedi, men. Move out!

Stendhal then got on the overseer's platform of a HAVw A6 Juggernaut. Faie got on board a separate tank and began following Stendhal's tank. As they made their way to Kachirho, Faie spoke with a Clone Lieutenant.

Faie: That blasted Jedi is a fool. We could've ended this war years ago if the Jedi didn't slow us down. They should be using their power as it was meant to be used.

Clone Lieutenant: It looks like the Jedi know what they're doing.

Faie: That's what they want you to think.

As Faie aired his grievances to the Lieutenant, Faie received an encrypted transmission from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. As the holoprojection of Palpatine appeared, Faie listened.

Palpatine(Holoprojection): Commander Faie. The time has come. Execute Order 66.

Faie: Yes, my lord.

As Faie was given the order, his eyes fell on the HAVw A6 Juggernaut in front of him. He saw Stendhal standing on the overseer's platform. In that moment, Faie turned to the Clone Pilot.

Faie: Fire on that tank. Kill the Jedi.

Upon hearing this order, the Clone Pilot was hesitant to follow through not because of Stendhal, but because of all the troops that were inside the tank.

Clone Pilot: But sir, there's troops inside....

Faie: I gave you an order, trooper! Our orders are to execute the Jedi traitor! Good soldiers follow orders.

With that, the Clone Pilot readied the weapons on the HAVw A6 Juggernaut. As Stendhal stood on the overseer's platform, he began to feel a shift in the Force.

Stendhal: Something's....something's not right.

Before he could react, Faie's HAVw A6 Juggernaut fired on the tank Stendhal was on. The resulting explosion destroyed the tank, leaving smoldering ruins in it's wake. All Clones inside were killed instantly while Stendhal was left badly injured. As the tanks left behind, a group of Clones were sent to retrieve Stendhal's body. To their surprise, Stendhal emerged from the explosion badly wounded, though very much alive. His right arm was broken and bloody and his lungs burned. His face was scarred and burned as the Clones readied their weapons.

Clone Trooper: Open fire on the traitor!

Without hesitation, Stendhal ignited his Blue and Green Lightsabers and began to cut down the Clones. Despite his serious injuries, Stendhal was able to defend himself against the Clones. Rage and confusion fell on Stendhal's mind as he had no idea what was going on.

Stendhal: Why?! WHY?!

Stendhal continued to cut down the Clones in a frenzied rage. He cut them down as if they were mere Battle Droids. As he killed the last of the Clones, Stendhal fell to his knees. His injuries pained him greatly as each movement proved painful. Despite this, Stendhal powered through it.

Stendhal: This....this cannot be an isolated incident. If it happened here, it could've happened elsewhere....

Stendhal soon came to the realization that the betrayal was not just on him, but possibly all Jedi who were fighting across the Galaxy. Upon learning of the betrayal of his troops, Stendhal quickly realized that his priority was to survive in the jungles of Kashyyyk. He soon came across a Wookiee woodsmith by the name of Tarkov and his son Jaccoba. They quickly lend their aid to the wounded Jedi in his escape. Meanwhile, Faie had taken on burden of orchestrating the defense of Kashyyyk, as well as hunting down the surviving Jedi after the death of Commander Gree. In the hours that followed, he had heard no updates from the Clones he sent to retrieve Stendhal's body. He quickly realized that Stendhal was responsible.

Faie: So the Jedi traitor survived. Very well....

More than happy to comply with his orders, Faie assembled a squadron of Clone Troopers he would call Bogey Squad. As he assembled Bogey Squad, Faie gave his orders.

Faie: Our orders are clear! We're to hunt down the Jedi traitor Stendhal! He couldn't have gotten far! Once we find him, we kill him! We have been directed by the highest authority! Under Order 66, we are to hunt down and kill all Jedi traitors! Anyone who disobeys this order will be shot!

With that, Faie led Bogey Squad deep into the heart of Kashyyyk's thick forests. Knowing Stendhal was in hiding, Faie and Bogey Squad would hunt him down relentlessly. In that moment, a game of cat and mouse would occur between the fugitive Jedi Knight Stendhal and Clone Commander Faie. In this deadly game of cat and mouse, only one would walk away.
