I had just arrived at Joel's apartment complex I stood there knocking several times, but I didn't get any response.
He ought to be back from work by now. I called his cellphone but he didn't pick.
"I hope all is well with him" I asked myself
I was about leaving then I decided to sit at an available chair at the corridor, just to wait for him.
Hours later the door to his apartment was opened from the inside, the door opens and I see Joel and a male friend of his step out.
Joel is 26 years old, 6"2 feet tall, with a ottermode body build, light Brown skin, oblong shaped face with dark brunette hair which had a hockey hairstyle, he had deep set russet brown eyes, roman nose and thin lips.
"Joel" I said his name softly
"I thought you weren't home, I've been here for hours, I called you, sent you a message but you didn't reply me" I yelled out
He continued with his friend ignoring my remarks, as they walk down the corridor.
"Joel!" I yelled his name out loud, but no relpy
"Joel don't you know that lady" his friend asked but he ignored him as they continued walking
I felt so angry and embarrassed, I felt so confused on what to do, should I stay or leave.
I rushed to catch up with him. He had seen his friend off at the car park when I approached him once again
"Joel why are you ignoring me" I asked desperately
"what?, what do you want" he asked rudely
"what did I do" I asked anxiously
"see go and meet your boyfriend " he raises his voice
"what boyfriend, I don't get you" i said in confusion
"the guy that picked you up from your work place yesterday, your rich boyfriend "
"I don't have any other guy, you're the only one. Come on"
"then who was that guy" he yells out
"his my bosses son, he offered to take me out for lunch"
"yeah yeah, what about me, didn't I call you several times, did you pick"
"I left my phone at home, I saw your message when I got home, I called you but you didn't answer"
"Allie leave me, you're just trying to give me some silly excuses "
"baby come on, his nothing but a stalker, please don't let this affect us"
"I saw you two holding hands "
"come on he held my hand, besides I quit my job"
"I hope you're not lying to me"
"Joel don't you trust me anymore, you know how much I love you "
He stares at me as he holds himself back from smiling, but he failed at his attempt and puts on an appealing smile which made me blush.
"I love you so much" I smiled getting closer to him, giving him a passionate kiss on the lips.
"I love you too, I'm sorry for doubting you" he said to me putting his right hand round my waist pushing me closer to his body
"let's go upstairs " he said nicely
"sure" I said as I blushed

After Joel and I had spent all afternoon together, I arrived home late in the evening just to meet someone waiting for me at home.
When I got into my house I see Chuck and my mom having a very friendly conversation.
Her face lightens up when she sees me get into the house, I felt a bit anxious seeing lchuck at my house, I didn't want my mom to find out that I quit my job.
Her Facial expression got me surprised, I couldn't remember the last time she seemed happy seeing me.
"Allie you have a visitor" my mom yelled out to me nicely
"it's Chuck" she yelled like she knew him already when actually it was her first time meeting him.
Chuck turns around facing me as he sits on the couch having a hot cup of tea
"hi chuck" I put on a pretentious smile
"hey" he said in a low tone
"your friend has been here since four o'clock and it's 8:30, where have you been? "
"I went to see Brenda " I said bowing my head down as I lied
"okay, your friend here wants to take you out for dinner, so go freshing up and wear something nice so you two can get going, you've delayed him long enough"
"Chuck can we talk" I asked him
"sure"
We both made our way out of the sitting room straight to the kitchen
"Chuck why are you here" I whispered to him
"to take you out for dinner"
"I hope you didn't tell my mom that I quit"
"No, that's up to you to tell"
"okay, I think you should go, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, you should have called me, I don't want to have any misunderstanding with my boyfriend"
"hold on, see I know you have a boyfriend, but can't a friend take another friend out, besides is he the jealous type"
"to begin with we are not friends"
"but your mom thinks so, see you don't want your mom to get suspicious, let's just go out, I promise I won't visit again, just for tonight please "
"okay fine " I said in a bit of rage
We both walked out of the kitchen quietly as I head straight to my room leaving my mom and chuck behind.
"so chuck can I get your number so we can communicate more often, my daughter is really hard to penetrate, and she's so stuck up on that looser of a boyfriend, so it'll be hard to woo her"
"okay sure, thank you, I really appreciate the fact that you're willing to help me"
"it's no problem, i know you'll be good for my daughter"

Later on that evening, chuck and I went to another fancy resturant, different from the one of the other day.
While we were having dinner, there was a moment of silent, chuck had left his sit as he approached me for a dance.
I just couldn't refuse even when I wanted to, I just had to go with the flow. In between our dance chuck paused for some minutes and stared into my eyes this made me feel quite uncomfortable.
After a while of starring he stole a kiss from me, before I could even realize that he was about to kiss me.
