A day after my visit to the police station, detective robles went along with some police officers to check out the area where the crime was committed.
The place was a very deserted street, only few people would pass there, it was a lonely street with no houses around, just empty lands filled with bushes and a very small road path which could barely contain two cars.
When detective robles and his crew arrived at the crime scene, they met a pool of dried blood at the left side of the road, with drops of blood which lead Into a bush, at the other side of the road.
It seemed after he was shut, he was dragged into the bush where the van was parked in, then placed into the van. This meant that the van he was placed into must have his blood on it, due to the bleeding if only the killer might not have cleaned out any trace of blood from the van.
The police officer were still working on tracking the car. A day after they had visited the crime scene the police officers went on patrol, In search of the red van.
The police came across an abandoned red van without a car number, parked in the parking lot of a convenient store.
The police officers walked into the convenient store to question the people working there as they demanded for camera footage of their CCTV cameras.
But the manager of the store wouldn't let them access without a warrant.

Three days had passed by, I just got off from work I was so exhausted, having to work with my growing belly became harder everyday.
I walked into my house, I could see my mom storm out of my room, when she sights me she rushes down the stairs and approaches me
"where's my receipt? " she asked with so much rage
"what receipt " I asked
"stop acting dumb, the one from the other day"
"I left it there, try checking under the chair " I said as I walked pass her, she held me back dragging my hands with force
"ouch mom you're hurting me " I shouted in pain
"Give me back that receipt or i'll hurt you more " she yelled out
"see mom I don't have your receipt " I said trying to convince her
My mom wouldn't let go of my arms, so I pulled my arm out of her hand with force. I made my way upstairs, then I got to realize that there was more to that receipt.
I told myself I wasn't going to hand over the receipt to her, but after the mess she made in my room and the violence she used downstairs, I knew I had to give it back, but not so soon.
Later on that evening, my mom had threatened me with a knife on the dinning table. She gave me till tomorrow morning to return back her receipt or I'll see the worst of her. Then she said something like you'll be next but I didn't understand what she meant.

The next day arrived, it was 5:35am when I woke up, after my mom's threat I became really scared for my child. I got up had a quick bath, brushed my tooth then rushed out of the house by 6:45am, then my mom was still asleep.
I left the house with the receipt in my hands. I went around searching for a cybercafe which would be opened at that time of the day.
I finally found one, I went in there to get a photocopy of the receipt, I knew I had to return the receipt back to her, if not I wouldn't know no peace.
After I made a photocopy of the receipt I took a picture placing both receipt together, just for future reference. In case my mom laid hands on the photocopy, after that I went straight to work.
On that same morning detective robles went back to the same convenient shop with a warrant to check their CCTV footage.
The manager of the store then took detective robles and the police officers to check the footage on the day of Joel's death and days after his death.
They had come across a footage on the 14th of July were a woman whose face backed the CCTV camera, dropped off the red van outside around 8:25pm.
The lady had matched the description of the witness, but this time she had no mask but was wearing the same exact things the woman described.
Then they knew that they had to do proper investigation on the car. when the police arrived at the van, it had been locked, which meant the killer either has the key or might have disposed it somewhere.
