Ulysses's POV
I cleared my throat, "Kuyas, Can I ask?"
Napatigil itong dalawa sa pagkain at tinignan ako, "Yeah. Sure. Spill it." Kuya Josh said.
"In any chance.... Do you know anything Thaddeus Arcadio?" I asked them.
Their eyes widened and gulped. Nagkatinganan silang dalawa na para bang may tinatanong sa isa't isa.
"Have you them?" Kuya Dae agitatedly asked.
"Them?" I asked in return, co's of curiosity.
"Yeah. The Arcadio Twins? Have you met these two?" Paguulit na tanong nikuya Daemon.
Nanlaki ang mata ko at parang nabuhusan ng malamig na tubig. They are twins? I mean, that is biggest twist I've encountered. I just thought that he was moody type of guy. I never thought that they are twins.
"T-twins?" I stammers.
"Yeah. Thaddeus Ivor and Thaddeus Ivan." Tamad na sagot ni kuya Josh.
I slowly nods as I try to process this kind of information. Like I said earlier, I never expect this and I never thought this. Hindi man lang ako nagkaroon ng idea na possible na kambal yung nakakasalamuha ko. Wow, what a twist.
"How did you met them?" Takang pagtatanong pa din ni Kuya Dae. Seryosong seryoso ang
mukha na para bang nagiimbestiga.
"The first one is... drop me off here in campus. Nung pumunta po kasi akong PUP. Wala po akong masakyan pabalik. He's kinda bubbly and jolly person." I said.
"That's Ivan." Mabilisang sagot ni kuya Josh at humigop sa kanyang inumin.
"The other one is... lend me some shirt. Kasi wala akong extrang dala that time. This guy is a totally opposite from the other one. Cold and silent." Sabi ko rito.
"And that's... Ivor." Then heave a deep breath.
"Alam niyo po ba kung anong nangyare sa kanila between Nathan?" Dire-diretso kong pagtatanong.
Hindi agad sila nakasagot at parang naestatwa sa kanilang kinauupuan. "Hmm..." Nagtinginan silang dalawa. Dahil don, nakaramdam na ako ng kakaiba. Pakiramdam ko may nangyare talaga nung nakaraan na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa din naaayos. Remember, iba ang kutob ng babae.
"Na-meet mo na si Maureen?" Kuya Daemons asked, and then looked at me intently. Is this connected to ate Maureen also?
I slowly nodded and flashed a curious face, "Yeah. But hindi naman ganon katagal. She just stood up for me against Olive, am I right?"
Kuya Josh chuckled, "That woman." Then shook his head.
Pinagmasdan ko lamang itong dalawang ito. Mukhang may ikekwento sila ayon sa mga kanilang kinikilos. Napahinto pa nga ito sa kanilang mga pagkain. So it means it is really important to tackle about.
"What did she said? I mean, ano yung mga nakwento na niya in such a small period of time?"
"She said that, you, Nathan and her are childhood friends. Dahil galing daw kayong sa iisang village lamang. And nakilala niyo lang sila Kuya sila Josh and kuya Toby nung pumasok na po kayo ng high school." Sabi ko sa kanilang dalawa.
"Then?"
"People misunderstood they relationship, including Olivia. But in fact, si Kuya Toby yung nanligaw at naging boyfriend ni Ate Mau." I added.
