2) He had only had his mother as a female to trust but she was too wrapped up in Grieving her husband and getting new boyfriends that when he met Vailey he instantly wanted her to be there for him.
3) He never understood the word no, he hated being told what too do. So, he's very persistent and that's why he had such an obsession. Because everyone including his mother had told him not to be such a creep with Vailey.
