"Okay, because SOMEONE decided to start a huge fire in the main hall, ye can just walk around the grounds and do stuff while we take care'a this." The supposed headmaster announced, as everyone cheered. This meant you could pretty much hang out for the rest of the day while exploring the outside of the school. The Kokichi guy decided to tag along with your group, though he was just kind of walking behind you and would occasionally contribute something weird to the conversation. You would be reminded of his presence every few seconds because he frequently opened his bottle of Panta which made that familiar hissing sound.

"Olivia, did you really have to start a gigantic fire?" Livia asked.

"Well, what else was I supposed to do!?" Olivia snapped back. "Plus, it wasn't actually supposed to be that big but whatever..." She mumbled. You had tuned out of the conversation when Livia and Olli started arguing, and had decided to talk to Kiyo and Kirumi instead. They seemed less... dramatic.

"So, what was your weirdest job, Kirumi?" You asked, attempting to learn more about your new friend. She thought for a bit and then spoke.

"I was given the task of finding the missing corndog." She said. You snorted. It sounded kind of funny, but Kirumi's face didn't change expression even for a second.

"Umm... could you- hahaha. Could you um... please elaborate?" You tried to keep a straight face, but it definitely wasn't working.

"Well, a slightly overweight man requested my services. I had to travel to California to see him and upon arrival he explained that he needed to find a missing corndog, because his housemate swore on his life that he didn't eat it. So the search began, and I looked everywhere. I even took it upon myself to check nearby areas, and of course, I eventually found it."

"Where was it?" You asked, genuinely curious.

"It turned out he had been sitting on it the entire time. I couldn't believe he hadn't noticed." Kirumi looked into the distance. You couldn't hold back anymore and let out a roaring laughter.

"I'm so sorry... I can't stop laughing... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" You tried to say normally, but that just made you laugh more. Kirumi looked taken aback, and you could tell Kiyo was smiling under his mask. Your laughter must have been contagious to some extent, because you heard a stifled 'kehehe' coming from him.

"Well, what about you? What is your favourite marine animal?" Kirumi questioned with a friendly smile.

"Well, this might sound weird, but I'm stuck between the anglerfish and the goblin shark." You said thoughtfully. "The anglerfish's way of hunting is so interesting... luring its prey in with a literal light in the darkness... and the goblin shark looks so awesome! And the jaw extends as well, like a xenomorph!" You were in your own world. The deep sea was your favourite thing to study.

"I think I remember the anglerfish, but I don't believe I've ever seen a goblin shark." Kiyo said, thinking for a bit. You smiled and pulled out your phone, doing a quick google search.

"This is what it looks like!" You said, proudly holding up your phone for the two to see.

"Oh dear... I wouldn't want to be attacked by this creature." He said and Kirumi nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, it's pretty unlikely from what I know. They have small fins suggesting they're slow and they live kind of deep... unsurprisingly. They catch stuff by extending their jaws." You said, sounding more knowledgable than ever. You felt like an information centre right now.

"Woah, that looks like Miu!" Kokichi said, catching a glimpse of the picture.

"I don't think so..." Kirumi said awkwardly.

"Are you talking about Miu Iruma!? The Ultimate Inventor!?" You asked curiously.

"Yeah, she looks like that thing there. Pretty easy to spot her in the crowd, nishishi!" He said, once again opening his bottle of Panta and gulping down the liquid. You laughed a bit, not remembering whether you had seen her here yet.

"At least I don't constantly pepper spray everything!" Olivia yelled, bringing you out of your conversation.

"Oh shut it! It was an accident! You should be familiar with those since you are one!" Livia yelled back.

"Calm the hell down, people are staring and Naomi looks like she wants to die." Chitako whisper-yelled. She turned to face the rest of the group, including you. "I'm so sorry that you have to witness this... it happens everyday."

"It's fine, don't worry. I have three brothers, I'm used to fighting." You laughed and waved it off.

"Actually, do you mind if I join you instead? You guys sound more calm." She asked. You looked over at Kiyo and Kirumi and they nodded. "Thanks. Oh, look. That's a nice place to sit for a while." She pointed to a large banyan tree. It did really look amazing. You almost wanted to take a picture of it, but maybe you should just leave it for today. You went over to the tree with the others and sat down under it. You and Kirumi both sat next to Kiyo.

"So, Chitako... what was the most bizarre way someone has ended up in the hospital?" Kirumi questioned.

"Please, call me Taki. Everyone does. But onto the question... some weird magician suffered massive internal bleeding after swallowing a flaming sword... and don't even get me started on the actual procedure... my God, I felt like I was on a lethal dose of LSD..." She said, rubbing her temples.

"Wow, that sounds pretty crazy..." You said, trying to imagine what could have possibly happened during the actual procedure. You continued to talk and at one point you ended up leaning against Kiyo out of exhaustion; way too much had happened in one day.

Before you knew it, you had to leave. You exchanged numbers with the group and went on your way. Everything felt like it was finally going to plan, though you still had your doubts about Kirumi. You were probably just overthinking it though...

...right?
