11. Party

I got back to the tower and went into the kitchen. Tony was in the kitchen. Sitting at the table was Thor, Loki and Natasha.

"Hello Tony. How was your day today?" I asked.

Tony frowns. "It was good".

"You look great today. I mean you look great every day, but still. You look stunning", I said.

Tony sighs. "What the hell do you want?" He asks.

I pretended to be offended. "That's mean. Can I not ask my favorite brother a few questions?"

"I'm your only sibling, Emma", Tony says.

"Which is why you're my favorite".

"What do you want?!"

"Nothing!"

There was a moment of silence. I sighed. "Well now that you've said it, there is this one thing that I want".

"I knew it".

"I was wondering...if...I...could go...to a...party".

"Emma, I'm okay with you going to a party as long as you're back by 11", Tony says.

"AndcanIhaveafriendover", I asked in one breathe.

"Huh?" Tony asks.

"Can...I have...a...friend...come over?" I asked.

"First, answer these questions. Boy or Girl?"

"Girl".

"Personality?"

"Personality?"

"Yes, now answer".

"Kind, Confident and Funny".

"Parents?"

"She's adopted".

"Name?"

"Her name is Lilly", I said. We heard a fork drop. We looked over at Thor, who looked at us in shock. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm good", he said.

I looked back at Tony. "Can I...have a-", I was cut off by Tony.

"Yes, now get the hell out of here",Tony snaps. I smiled and ran out of the kitchen. I did my homework and after I did my homework, Lilly came to help get ready for the party.

"Since this isn't a prom or homecoming dance or party, we don't dress too fancy", Lilly says.

"Too Fancy isn't my thing anyways", I said. Me and Lilly high fived each other. "How does it feel to be at Avengers tower?"

"It's amazing. I like how you decorated your room. It's beautiful. This is all amazing", Lilly says.

"Is it okay if we take a picture together? I want it to be in my photo album of 'A Year To Remember'. Then, we can leave for the party", I said.

Lilly nodded. I put my arm around her. I took the photo. I set the camera on the bed and I grabbed my phone. Me and Lilly walked out of my room.

While we were walking down the halls, we ran into Thor and Loki. Loki smiles at me. "You look ravishing, Emma", Loki says.

"Thank you", I said.

"Where are you going?"

"A party. You know that already. You listened to me and Tony's conversation", I said. Loki's smile grew bigger.

"Have fun", he said.

"Thank you", I said. Me and Lilly walked away. We walked outside where there was a car, already waiting for us.

We got into the car. I ended up in the middle of Ned and Lilly. Peter was in the passenger seat. A woman was in the driver's seat. "Lilly, Emma, This is my Aunt May", Peter says.

"Hello", Me and Lilly said at once.

"Hi. Peter has told me so much about you guys. He talks about you all a lot. So how is school going for you guys?" May asks.

"It's good. We've been teaching Emma about High School because she's never gone to school before", Lilly says.

"Really? Have you been homeschooled?" She asked me.

"Yeah. My brother would homeschool me when he's at home. Sometimes Pepper would homeschool me", I explained.

"Your brother is Tony Stark, right?" She asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, that's my brother", I said.

"So where have you been this whole time, if you don't mind me asking".

"I was in Tony's mansion. Ever since our parents died, well ever since the mansion was standing, that's where I spent my life".

May nodded. She started asking Ned some questions. Then Lilly. I stayed quiet for the rest of the ride.

We arrived at a house. We all thanked May for the ride and got out of the car. Even when we were outside, the music was still heard. Teenagers were outside talking or dancing to the music.

The four of us went inside the house. There were red cups on the ground inside. Students were dancing or eating pizza. MJ walked up to us. She kisses Peter.

"Ew", Me and Lilly said in unison. MJ rolls her eyes. Connor walks up to us. He gave Lilly a rose. She grabbed the rose from his hands. I swear I saw Lilly blush.

"This is fun. We're at a party. What now?" I asked.

"Did you bring a swimsuit?" MJ asks.

"Of course. I mean, this is a party, right?" I said. We all walked towards the backyard. My eyes widened when I saw a pool. Some people were standing next to the pool, talking or dancing. Some of the students were sitting on the side with their feet in the water. Others were in the pool, splashing each other and jumping into the pool.

"Let's go in", Connor says. We all took our clothes off to reveal our swimsuits. I was about to jump in, but I stopped. The smile on my face disappeared.

"What's wrong?" Lilly asked.

"I can't swim. I don't know how", I said.

They all looked at me sadly. "It's okay. I'll stay with Emma. You guys can go",Lilly says. I smiled at her.

Peter, MJ, Ned and Connor went in the pool. Me and Lilly stayed on the side, talking.

"Can I tell you something?" Lilly asked. I nodded. "I think I've been having dreams about my real parents. In the dreams, I'm a baby. My dad, my real dad, would hold me in his arms as I pulled on his hair".

"Did he have long hair?" I asked. I don't know why I asked.

"Yes, he did. He'd give me to my mother. She'd put me in my crib and sing me to sleep. Then, I wake up",she explained.

"What was she like?"

"She was very beautiful, very kind, and she was loved by so many people, but my father loved her more than anyone".

"What happened to them?"

"I don't know. My adoptive parents are terrible people. All they care about is money", Lilly says. I wrapped my arms around Lilly and pulled her into a hug.

Alex came outside and sat down next to us. "Hey", he said. I smiled and waved at him. "I was wondering if you want to dance?"

I looked at Lilly. "Go ahead. I'll be fine", Lilly said. I got up and walked into the house with Alex.

Me and Alex danced together as we talked. When my friends came inside, I danced with them. There was something about Alex that I like. I don't know what it is, but I think he's cute.

Anyways, I danced with Peter, MJ, Ned, Connor and Lilly until it was time for us to leave. My first High School party wasn't too bad.

I will publish the next chapter in October since that's the month the next chapter takes place in. Or I might do it at the end of September
