Me and the Avengers were gathered outside. I brought Lilly and Loki with me. I jumped with excitement once we were up the hill. They all had a sled in their hands. Everyone except Loki.

"Emma, what are we doing here?"Tony asks.

"Yeah, and why did you make us bring our sleds? It's not snowing", Clint says. I looked down at the watch on my wrist.

"It'll come", I said.

"Emma, I understand. This'll be your first time being in the snow", Tony said.

"And I'm really excited", I said as I bounced a little with excitement.

"Emma, it's not going to come on cue".

I looked at Tony. "It will, Tony. It will".

"Em, don't do this to yourself", Pietro said. I looked at Pietro in shock.

"You too?" I asked in disbelief.

"We just don't want you to be disappointed", Wanda said.

"The three of you are killing me right now. It will come...I hope. Who agrees with them?" I asked. Everyone opens their mouth to speak, but I beat them to it. "Don't answer that". Everyone closed their mouths.

"Emma, we can always watch a Christmas movie", Rhodey said.

"Yeah, but it's not Christmas".

"So?" Natasha asks.

"Plus, that's not real snow. I mean, it is, but we'll be watching people play in it while the real snow in real life is falling", I said.

"Emma. You're driving us crazy", Tony said.

"Please, guys. This'll be my first time in the snow. It has to be perfect. I want it to be great", I said.

"Emily, we're tired", Clint said. I glared at him for calling me Emily. "Can we just go inside?"

"No", I said.

"Em, please. I know this means a lot to you, but it's cold. Our joints are freezing. Can we go inside?" Tony asked.

"You can. I'm staying", I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "I. Have. To see. The snow".

"Emma " Lilly said.

"Please don't do this to yourself", Loki said.

I sighed. "If it doesn't work, we'll go back inside", I said. I looked back down at my watch. "Three...Two...", I looked up at the sky and smiled."One".

On cue, Snow started falling. "You were saying?" I asked. Everyone laughed and "Whoa". Everyone except Loki. Loki looks up at the sky with a worried expression.

"Are you okay?" I asked. Loki looks at me.

"Yeah, I'm fine", he said. Some of the Avengers placed their sleds on ground. The rest of them got on a sled with someone. Lilly got on a sled with Thor. "Are you ready?" She asked.

"No, not really", he said. Lilly chuckled.

"Don't worry. It'll be fun", Lilly said before she and Thor sled down the hill. I looked at Loki, who still looked up at the sky, worried.

I grabbed his hand which made him look down at me. "It's alright. Come on, this will be fun", I said.

"Again, you and I have different definitions of fun", Loki says as I laid my sled on the ground. I rolled my eyes as I got on the sled.

I turned around to look at Loki. "Do you trust me?" I asked. Loki nodded.

"Of course".

I tapped my hand next to me on the sled and turned around. Loki sighs. He got onto the sled.

"Ready?"

"No".

I chuckled. The sled went down the hill with me and Loki on it. I cheered and laughed as we came down. The sled stop at the bottom of the hill, almost knocking us off of it.

"Well?" I asked.

"It was pretty fun", Loki says with no emotion in his voice.

"Let's go again", I said as we got off the sled. I grabbed the sled. Me and Loki ran back up the hill. Pietro was there with a rope in his hand. I laid my sled next to him. Me and Loki sat down on the sled.

I grabbed one end of the rope. Pietro grabbed the other end. My smile grew bigger. "Ready?" Pietro asks.

I nodded. Pietro zoomed through the snow, pulling mine and Loki's sled. I laughed with excitement.

"Isn't this great, Loki?" I asked.

"No, it is not", he said. I continued laughing. Pietro went back up the hill and stopped. I let go of the rope. "Maybe we should go inside, Emma".

"Are you afraid of the snow?" I asked. Then, I realized, he couldn't be afraid of the snow. He's a Frost Giant. "Loki, what's going on?"

"Nothing. It's just...I um...I've never done...all of this. It's...it's new to me".

"You'll get used to it, giant", I said. "Do you want to go down again?"

"Yes", Loki said. "Wait. What did you call me?"

"There's two things me and Tony have in common. We have quite sassy and we are good at nicknaming people. Other than that, me and my brother are complete opposites", I explained.

"Why that particular name?"

"Cause you should be proud of who you are".

Our sled went down the hill. We ran into Wanda and Pietro. The four of us fell to the ground and laughed.

Lilly and Thor had gotten onto their sled by the time me and Loki reached the top of the hill. "Hello. Do you want to have a race?"

"Sure. Why not", Lilly said.

"One two...", I started.

"Ten!" Me and Lilly shouted in unison. Both sleds took off as me and Lilly laughed at the Home Alone Reference. Thor and Loki both looked at us, confused.

Me and Loki's sled stopped at the bottom of the hill. We both fell over which made us both laugh. Our sled went farther than Lilly and Thor's sled.

"I think we won", I said.

I stopped laughing when I saw a worried look on Loki's face. He sat up and looked at his hands. I sat up and looked at him, worried.

"Loki?" I asked.

"I knew this would happen", he said.

"Knew what would happen?"

Loki looks at me. "I have to go", Loki said. He got up and ran back to the tower which was only across the street.

"Loki, wait!" I shouted as I got up. I ran after him. Loki didn't stop running. "Loki!"
