29. Past

3rd person's point of view

It was a beautiful day in Asgard. Today was the day Odin and Frigga got to see their new granddaughter.

Thor held the baby in his arms. The small infant grabbed his hair with her small hands and pulled on it. The baby giggles as she pulled on her father's hair.

Thor laughs at his daughter's behavior. He handed the baby girl to Frigga. Frigga smiled at the baby as she held her in her arms. Thor puts an arm around Frigga. They looked at the baby.

"Thor, she's beautiful", Frigga says. The little baby girl reached her hand out to touch Frigga's cheek. Frigga kissed the baby's head and gave her back to Thor.

The doors open. Everyone turned around to see Loki standing at the doorway. He walks toward Thor, Odin and Frigga. "Loki, you made it", Thor says happily.

"You didn't think I'd miss this, did you? Sorry I'm late", Loki says. He stood next to Thor and looked down at the baby. "How is my little niece?"

The baby continues to pull on Thor's hair. Loki smiles. "She won't stop pulling on my hair", Thor says. Loki laughs. Thor handed him the baby. The baby smiles as she looks up at her Uncle.

"You're a little trickster, aren't you?"Loki asks. "And a little traitor".

Thor laughs. "Really, Loki? This again?" He asked.

"Yes. Your daughter betrayed me", Loki says as he looks at Thor. He looks down at the baby in his arms. "We'll get in a lot of trouble together when you're older".

"Oh, Loki", Thor says. The baby giggles which made Loki's smile grow bigger. He gave the baby back to Thor. As she laid in her father's arms, the baby girl yawned. "It looks like someone's tired. I think we tired her, brother".

Lisbeth walked towards Thor and Loki. "I'll take it from here, Gentlemen", she said. Thor puts the baby in Lisbeth's arms.

Lisbeth walks toward the crib as she sung a lullaby to the small infant. She put the baby in the crib. The baby was fast asleep.

Thor and Loki walked toward Lisbeth. Thor stood next to Lisbeth. On the other side of Thor was Loki.

"What were you thinking of naming her", Loki asks as he looks at the small baby that was sleeping in the crib. He and Thor looked at each other.

"Well...We were thinking of naming her Lilly".

Thor opened his eyes and gasped. He found himself on one of the couches in Avengers tower. He saw Emma and Lilly sitting on the other couch, looking at him in worry.

"Are you okay?" Lilly asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine", Thor lied. He got up and walked out of the living room. He walked into the kitchen. Loki was sitting at the island, playing the spoons. Thor sat down next to him.

Loki stops and looks at Thor. "What is it?" Loki asks.

"I saw her in my dream again", Thor says. Loki laid the spoons on the table.

"Brother, I know you want your daughter back, but that girl that is in that room with my girlfriend is not your daughter. Look, I loved my niece", Loki says.

"And I loved my daughter. I will not give up on her. I'll find my daughter someday", Thor says. "She is out there. Some-"

The sound of books falling made Thor and Loki look towards the doorway to see Lilly, picking up the books on the floor. "S-Sorry", Lilly said.

Thor and Loki got up and walked towards Lilly. They helped her pick up the books. The three of them walked towards the table and laid the books on there.

"I hope I didn't interrupt anything",Lilly said.

"No, it's alright", Loki says. Thor and Loki sat at the table while Lilly got something to drink.

"Who were you talking about, if you don't mind me asking", Lilly says as she pours herself a cup of orange juice.

"We were talking about my niece. We lost her 15 years ago", Loki explained.

"I'm sorry to hear that".

"She was a little trickster. She was also a traitor".

"Really? How?" Lilly asked after taking a sip of her orange juice.

"It's a hilarious story", Thor says. "Before my child was born, we were thinking of naming the baby after Loki".

"The baby turned out to be girl so they couldn't name her after me. Which is why she's a traitor", Loki says. Lilly laughs.

Emma comes into the room. She and Loki kissed. Lilly smiles at them. "Do you guys want to watch Star Wars with me and Lilly?" Emma asks.

"I don't know what that is, but sure",Loki says. Emma and Lilly chuckles. Emma and Loki walked out of the kitchen, holding hands.

"Do you want to join us, Thor?" Lilly asked.

"Sure. I don't know what Star Wars is", Thor says.

"You'll like it", Lilly says. She and Thor walked out of the kitchen to join Emma and Loki.
