33. Stand

Me, Loki and all the Avengers were in the living room. I sat next to Loki. My head laid on his shoulder.

Tony smiles at us. "What?" I asked.

"Nothing", he said.

Suddenly, four people came into the room along with a guy who was wearing an eyepatch and black outfit. All the Avengers stood from their seats. One of the people pulled me away from Loki. "Hey!" I protested as I fell to the ground. I stood up. Tony stood next to me.

"Fury, what the hell is the meaning of this?" Tony asks as he puts an arm around me.

"Mr. Stark, I'm not sure if you forgot, but Loki isn't supposed to be here",the guy with the eyepatch said. I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Who the hell do think you are?" I snapped.

"Ms. Stark, I'm Nicholas Joseph Fury, head of S.H.E.I.L.D", the guy with the eyepatch said.

"Oh right. S.H.E.I.L.D. Well do you mind telling me what you're doing here?" I asked.

"Loki is not supposed to be here".

"Well he is now so leave him alone".

"I'm not sure if you know this, but a few years ago, Loki attacked earth, leading an alien army to destroy the world", Fury explained.

"And you don't think that maybe he's changed?" I asked.

"Doesn't matter. After the damage he's caused, he's coming with us. Once he's on the helicarrier in 7 hours, you're not going to see him again", Fury says. He and the agents walk out of the room with Loki.

I followed them. "Emma", Tony called out. He and the rest of the Avengers followed me.

"I won't let you take him. Don't act like you have any rights", I said. Fury, Loki and the agents stopped walking and turned around to look at me.

"I have plenty of right to take him away, Ms. Stark", Fury says.

"The hell you don't", I snapped. Tony grabs my hand. I looked at him.

"Emma, this is S.H.I.E.L.D we're talking about. You can't beat them alone", Tony says.

"Then help me. Please, Tony. You know he's different. Please help me help him", I begged.

I turned around to see the agents put handcuffs on Loki. "Stop!" I shouted. I was about walk towards them, but Tony held me back. "Stop! Tony, let me go! Don't let them take him! You can't let them take him! Do something!" Fury went into the elevator. The agent and Loki followed behind. "No! Loki!" I shouted.

Loki turns around to look at me. "I love you", I said. Tony looks at me in shock. So did the rest of the Avengers.

"I love you too", Loki says as the door closed. The door closed completely. Tony let's go of me. I looked down at the ground.

I looked back at the Avengers and my brother. "We have to get him back", I said.

"Emma's right. He doesn't deserve this", Bucky says.

"Yeah, he's a changed man and he's our friend. We can't let them do this to him. Or Emma", Pietro said.

"They both deserve better than this",Wanda said.

"I know, I know and I know. But...What can we do? We have 7 hours, the place is probably guarded by an army of S.H.E.I.L.D agents and there's only...17? Of us?" Tony says.

"We've fought bigger than some pesky S.H.E.I.L.D agents", Wanda said.

"It's going to take everyone", I mumbled. Everyone looks at me. "I have an idea". I walked away and took the stairs to my room.

I made a couple of text messages. Then, I changed my outfit. As I changed my outfit, I sang, trying my best not to cry.

I was wearing a black leather jacket, a red and gold t shirt, black jeans and black boots. My short brown hair was in a ponytail.

I took a deep breath. My expression changed into something more fierce, beyond furious. And that's how I felt.

"Down worry, Loki. S.H.E.I.L.D won't take you away. Not if I have something to say about it", I said. Even though I knew he couldn't hear me.

I took the elevator to the living room. The Avengers had their gear on. "Great, you're all ready", I said, smiling. We all went to the elevator. I put on my sunglasses. "We're going to have to make a quick stop at the school. We have to meet up with a few people".

"A few people or an army?" Wanda asked.

I just smirk mischievously. "You think they can handle it?" Clint asked. I guess he knew who I was thinking about.

"They think we're facing the CIA. I think they can handle it", I said.

"And this is why you don't take away a girl's boyfriend", Tony said. I nodded in agreement.

"She's pissed", Natasha said. I nodded, confirming that I was indeed, pissed off. Well, I was more than pissed off.

My life is amazing. I finally know who I can be and who I can trust and who I'm in love with. S.H.E.I.L.D isn't taking that away. And if they try...
