30. Studying

Emma's point of view

On Monday, Me and Peter talked to each other during 2nd period. Well 2nd period hasn't started yet since our teacher isn't here.

"So how did the mission go?" I asked. Some of the Avengers had to go on a mission on yesterday.

"It was good. If getting hit in the head is good", Peter says. I tried my hardest not to laugh. "Your brother did a good job, as usual".

"I'm sure he did. You know, sometimes it scares me when my brother goes on mission", I said.

"Yeah, I understand. You just want your brother to be safe. Aunt May feels the same", Peter says. I nodded in agreement. I'm glad Peter gets it. The teacher, Ms Warren walks into the classroom.

"Good morning, everyone. I have an important announcement", Ms Warren says. "As you all know, it is now January, meaning it's almost the end of the school year". Everyone including me and Peter, cheered. "Don't celebrate yet. You still have to study for tests". We all groaned in frustration.

"Why do we have to take these tests? What's the point of all of it?" Flash asks.

"Is that what you're all thinking?" Ms. Warren asked. We all nodded.

"I mean, what's the point of it? Is all the homework that we've done this whole semester, not enough?" I asked.

"Well, the point is for us to see if you've learned anything this year. Think of these tests as your ticket to becoming Juniors. When you take it again next year, that's your ticket to becoming Seniors. Then, it's your ticket to getting into College. Last year it was your ticket to what you are right now, Sophomores".

"Everyone's except Emma's. I mean why is she here?" Flash asks. I thought some of the students would laugh. It wouldn't be the first time they laugh at something Flash said about me. To my surprise, no one laughed.

"Well Flash, Emma hasn't gone to Elementary or Middle School or Freshman year, but she's here right now because she wants to live a good life. Just like everyone in here", Ms. Warren explains. "Isn't that right, Emma?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I want to have a life. Just like everyone else in this room. I should have a life, right? I'm human too. Maybe one day I can save the world too", I said.

"And you will get there", Ms. Warren says as she smiles at me. I smiled back.

"So these tests are one of the things that help us pass one grade to another every year?" Peter asks.

"Yes, that's correct. Today is the 11th. The test for this class is on 25. You'll be having a test in Science, Social  Studies and Language Arts. I will be passing out Study Guides".

We were given Study Guides in Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. When school was over, Me, Peter and Lilly road in the limo which was drove by Happy.

When we got to the tower, me, Peter and Lilly went into the kitchen. Tony and Loki were standing next to the island. Thor, Bruce and Rhodey were sitting at the Island.

"Hey, how was school?" Tony asks.

"It was great. We have to study for four tests", I explained as I grabbed three apples.

"Four tests?" Tony asks.

"Our Tests are on 25th, 26th , 27th and the 28th. I'll be very busy for 2 weeks so we might need a lot of apples, water, apple juice, and Graham crackers", I said. I walked towards the table and sat down next to Lilly and Peter. We opened up our study Guides and began studying.

Me, Peter and Lilly studied for 3 hours until it was time for them to go back home. Even when they left, I continued studying. The Avengers joined me in the kitchen. Some of them sat with me at the table, some sat at the island, others were cooking.
