Jonathan sat in disbelief as Tony filled him in, "Honestly, other than what I've already told you, I don't really have any new information."

Jonathan nodded, "Let's go over it one more time anyway." Tony rehearsed the script Anthony had fed him, "David went missing three days ago. No one's saying anything. No one has seen or heard from him. Before he disappeared, Anthony and Carlos had very little contact with him. They were sent to a different warehouse last week. Cora Beth, uh sorry Elizabeth, has slipped off their radar too. The guys in charge are Sonny and Darien —"

Jonathan's head jolted up, "Darien is here too?" Tony nodded, "Yeah, why?" Jonathan shook his head, "He must know that David is undercover. They had a little têtê-à-têtê so to speak in Aspen. He was Faith's old boyfriend."

Tony sat in silence for moment as he processed the new information before inquiring, "I guess that makes sense then. Darien saw David and decided to take out the cop. Why don't we ask Faith for help? She probably knows some weakness he has."

Jonathan shook his head, "No, we can't involve her. This is already out of hand. I am going to go in myself and get David out." Tony narrowed his eyes at Jonathan, "Don't be stupid. We have two guys in the field with David. If they don't know where he is, we won't find him either. Besides now they will be on their toes after discovering an undercover cop among them."

Jonathan fumed, "Tony, he's my brother! I'm not going to just sit here and let him die!" As Jonathan prepared to stand, Tony's strong hand pressed his shoulder down, "Sit down, Jay! Do you think you're the only one that cares about David?"

Jonathan shook his head apolitically, "No, I know you care, but he is my brother." Tony's tempter flared, "And he is my partner! Jay, do you think I don't know that you're scared? I am too! David is the glue that holds all of us together. I don't want to lose him either...but I'm not going to be stupid and run in there without some kind of a plan."

Excitement flooded her soul. After all these years of planning and orchestrating she would finally complete Gino's last request. Vengeance. It would work. It had to work.

She had come too far to back out now. Too far to let them win again; however, she wasn't stupid. She knew there was always a chance something might go wrong and if it did she had a backup plan. Shame it would take years for it to work, but if that is what had to happen then so be it.

But she wasn't ready to give in yet. She still had time to implement her plan. Jonathan would finally get what he deserved. Gino would be avenged, and she could finally have the life she always wanted.

Too bad Gino had been so bent on killing him. It was far more pleasurable to take everyone from him — to make him want to die, but not gracing him with death. That was his worst nightmare.

But nightmares aren't fantasy when they happen in the daytime. When your eyes are open and you are powerless to stop your fear from becoming reality.

Dear Diary,

David has gone missing...I don't know what to do. My eyes are puffy and bloodshot from the hours I've spent crying. Once I think I can't cry anymore here comes a whole new bucket of tears.

I keep praying. Begging God to bring David home. I feel like I'm hitting a brick wall. Surely God knows how much we all need David...how much I need David.

Please, God...hear our prayers! Bring David home. Safe and well. Don't let him be hurt. Bring him home.
