Early in the morning Rosie woke up alone in her soon to be own room and went to the living room. There were five colorful balloons and a big teddy bear on the table.
Both men went out of their soon to be room.
<<HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!>>, they greeted her happily.
John hugged his daughter and then Sherlock did the same.
<<Oh, happy birthday, my dear!!>>, Mrs Hudson said smiling and stroked Rosie's hair.
<<Mrs Hudson what's that?>>, Sherlock asked the landlady.
She was holding a cat in her arms.
<<Oh, this is Mycroft.>>, she said and sat him on the ground.
<<Mycroft?!>>, John asked laughing with his cup of tea in his hand.
<<Look at him.>>, Sherlock said, <<He really looks like Mycroft. This annoyed face.>>
Everyone in this room laughed.
<<What's so funny?>>, Mycroft asked pejorative.
<<Oh wow, look at this fun braker.>>, Sherlock said annoyed.
<<It's Rosie's birthday. Of course we have fun, Mr Holmes!!>>, Mrs Hudson said also annoyed.
<<That's why I am here.>>, the older Holmes explained.<<Happy birthday, Mrs Watson.>>, he continued and shook her hand.
Rosie had never liked meetings with her uncle and looked a bit confused.
<<John?>>, Sherlock asked him.
<<Yes, Sherlock?>>, he asked.
<<I've forgotten the cake.>>, the Consulting Detective mumbled.
<<No.>>, John whispered and went to the fridge, <<Look.>>
He was holding the cake in his hands and put it on the table.
<<But first of all, let's go to the first spot.>>, Sherlock said and went to his room to put some clothes on.
Then he dressed Rosie while John also put some clothes on.
They went to an entertainment park.
Rosie met Tim and they spent the whole time together.
Mrs Hudson, Molly, Lestrade and Mycroft drank coffee or tea in a cafe while Sherlock and John went in a dark room because John had actually bought the tickets for him and Rosie and they didn't want to waste the money they paid because Rosie went with Tim.
<<Sherlock!>>, John said in fear, <<Why is it dark?>>
<<Because it's a dark room.>>, the Consulting Detective explained calmly.
<<I see. Or I don't see.>>, John said. The room was also full of obstacles and tripping hazards. So John stumbled and fell down.
<<What? What happened?>>, Sherlock asked worried.
He ran his hands along the floor to find John.
John did the same to find the detective.
Then their hands touch each other and both were startled but laughed.
<<Here we go, John.>>, Sherlock said, <<Please hold my hand. I can't see anything and I don't want to walk on different ways now.>>
He tried to grab something from John but only grabbed the air, till he felt John's hair.
<<Hey.>>, Sherlock whispered and ran his hands down John's body until he felt the former soldier hands.
<<No, Sherlock!>>, John whispered nervously.
<<Well, then I'm going to grab your sleeve.>>, Sherlock said and immediately grabbed the Doctor's sleeve.
Together they tried to find a way through the darkness and all the obstacles.
The whole 20 minutes Sherlock cursed because he kept poking his toe.
<<Sherlock, Sherlock!>>, John said.
<<What?>>, the Consulting Detective asked.
<<Maybe we should stop running like idiots in the dark?! Should we? So then you're gonna stop poking your toe.>>
<<Yes, maybe we should.>>, he mumbled.
They escaped the room without any other trouble.
While heading to pick Rosie the men were talking:
<<I hope there are no cameras.>>, John whispered breathing hard.
<<Why?>>, Sherlock asked.
<<We were touching each other in a dark room.>>, he answered, <<People might talk.>>
Sherlock said nothing but rolled his eyes. He always got annoyed when John cared about somebody else's opinion and limited himself because of that. The youngest Holmes wasn't that type of person, he always tried not to miss any opportunities.
The men met Rosie near a fountain, she was saying goodbye to Tim.
<<Hey Rosie, we have to go continue your birthday celebration at the restaurant.>>, her daddy told her.
<<Tim, we'll be glad to meet you later. But now we have to go>>, he said to Tim and winked.
They all said goodbye to Tim and headed to the restaurant where the rest of their company was waiting for them.
When they got closer to it, they could see a lot of balloons near its entrance. Rosie was so happy at that moment and she ran to them, getting greetings by Molly, the detective inspector, the landlady and Sherlock's brother.
At the restaurant they ate and drank: the adults were drinking champagne and wines and had a wonderful time; Rosie was reading her birthday cards and drinking juice. Then they ate a birthday cake and drank tea.
That was a great day for Rosie, she would remember that day as an amazing day spent with her closest people.
When they finally got home, both dads gifted her an own room, Rosie was very happy about that.
<<Take your time to put all your presents and go to sleep then, dear. You're already a grown girl, we may trust you, right?>>, John asked her smiling.
<<Sure, daddy!>>, the girl answered and ran to her own room to deal with all the presents she got.
Both men went to their room. John was very tired so he immediately went to sleep. Sherlock decided to search the internet to look for recent news. He was tired to read anything so he just looked at some popular on the internet pictures. Suddenly he came across one hot artwork.
<<Mmmm that's interesting, it seems amazingly familiar.>>, he said with a mysterious smile.
Sherlock decided to print this picture and put it on the wall, anyways he noticed that John didn't check anything out on his "deduction wall". When he finished, he went to sleep, looking awkwardly at the "pillows barrier" between him and his not only a good friend, but his roommate since now.
