"Please it hurts" you begged

"Hush now girl, you'll eventually thank us for this" one of the men around you smirked while cutting into your forearm.

The pain was becoming unbearable like it always was, they never hurt you enough to kill you but enough to make you hurt, "Please I beg of you. Stop hurting me" you whispered as another cutting was made.

A hand swiftly wrapped around your neck silencing any further pled "I thought my colleague told you to hush, it's very important that we do this to you, it's the only way your inner self will be born."

"I don't want that please just let me go home" you continued to beg.

But the hand in your neck just squeezed tighter this time enough to cut off your oxygen supply, you choked and spluttered, you couldn't move your arms as they were strapped down to the bench that you were laid on. Your vision fazed in and out as black spots appeared, you began to struggle desperately needing oxygen, he finally let go and you sucked in barrels of oxygen.

"Open her up" you heard as they moved the knife. You knew what that meant, you had seen this procedure many times and it always ended in the person being tied down dead.

You panicked, what the scientists said was literal, you saw the knife move over you. They were going to cut you open from just under the ribs to your stomach, they usually did a sort of surgery while you were still wide awake, your heart rate picked up to a speed faster than you had ever felt before and you felt a fire in your veins that spread from your chest. You felt the knife pierce you just under the ribs and you exploded.

"Sebastian!"

The knife careened towards you in slow motion, but you wouldn't need this Sebastian man to come to your aid, you could protect yourself. It's not like your brother's butler could come to your aid anyway, that'd leave Ciel open and neither you nor the butler would want that, though for very different reasons. Ciels shout spurred you into action, shocking everyone in the room.

Just before the sharp knife imbedded itself into your skull you stopped it, the gleaming sharp point was millimetres from your skin, your hands splayed open to stop the knife before it killed you. The room went silent, everyone's heard turning to you, in the corner of your eye you could see those familiar crimson orbs watching you carefully, like trying to figure you out. The Nobel man, Stephens face turned to fear.

You now understood why this man took you in as a maid despite your dangerous and unnatural power, he was the main founder of the experiments that created you and he didn't want to waste his money, he wanted to study you without your knowledge, he wanted to use you. But now that you knew, he was going to end you. Here they were, the main cause to your misery and the people you had to get your revenge on, right under your nose the entire time.

Sir Stephens ran just as you flicked your wrist to send the knife back at him, you missed and it lodged in the wall behind him, a thunk sounding. Your anger bubbled as the men once attacking and shooting at your brother turned to you. Gun shots sounded but none could reach you in this state, they were all sent fired back at them with deadly accuracy.

Your feet lifted from the floor as the screams of dying men echoed through the manor, just like in that old hell of the building you exploded, compulsions of energy erupting from you and taking out the supports of the manor. A horrible roar of the building straining filled all your ears as your vision went black and you fell; the building around you doing the same. Killing anyone left behind, the last thing you felt was strong but lean arms wrapping around your waist.

*3rd Person POV*

Ciel didn't see (Y/N)'s full rage. From the moment the men turned from him and went for (Y/N) Sebastian rushed him outside and out of danger, already knowing his next orders rushed back into the collapsing building, he felt the energy waves emitting from the floating girl suddenly cut out as she fell.

At the same time the building collapsed he caught her unconscious body and once agin rushed outside the building just in time, the building collapsed into a heap, both Sebastian and Ciel watching it until the last wooden support had fallen. Sebastian still, unnaturally gently for him, held the girl bridal style, she was still unconscious.

"Did everyone in the collapse die?" Ciel asked turning to Sebastian.

"I don't sense anyone alive" he answered.

Ciel then peered at (Y/N) his attention shifting, but was unable to see her properly due to Sebastian's height advantage over him "let me see her."

Sebastian bent down a teasing smirk on his face "she is exhausted but complete fine, she will recover fully from this and be back on her feet in a few days."

Ciel seemed to ignore the look and comment from his butler, instead he looked intently at (Y/N), still no memories of his past with her surfaced to his mind. He brought a hand up and placed the back of his fingers against her warm cheek still trying to bring back the memories. A frown crossed Ciels features.

"Something wrong you master?" Sebastian tilted his head.

"No" Ciel withdrew "... she is (Y/N) Phantomhive... right?"

"Are you asking me or yourself young master?" Sebastian asked standing back to his full height once again his head slightly tilting with a closed eyed smile

"Asking you, you can sense that sort of thing with family members can't you?" Ciel frowned at the slight talk back from his butler.

"Yes she is young master, she is (Y/N) Phantomhive... even with the strange telekinetic abilities, I suspect this is part of her thanks to that organisation she was sold to" Sebastian answered both him and Ciel walking back to the carriage.

"Yes I doubt she was born with them..." Ciel clearly still deeply thinking about something.

Sebastian quickly picking up on it "something still wrong young lord?"

"...why can't I remember her Sebastian, we seemed close in the photo, and now it's like she never even existed" Ciel didn't turn back not wanting the demon to see his moment of weakness, but Sebastian could sense it.

"Trauma will do that to you my lord, I have seen it in many men, serious trauma can even wipe your own life from your mind, a sister is nothing." Sebastian slightly readjusted (Y/N) so that her head was resting against his chest rather than dangling over his arm.

"Humph, we're not going back to the town house, I don't feel like being bothered by Prince Soma, we're going back to the manor she'll be more comfortable waking in a familiar place" Ciel started "and send letter to all who knew about her existence and I suppose to frequent visitors of my manor so that they know of her existence and that she is alive. Tanaka will know who needs to be contacted"

"Yes young master" Sebastian did a half bow.

Behind them police whistles could be heard echoing, they must have heard the house come crumbling down and was responding to the incident, similarly reapers began to appear on the scene to reap the souls of the many fallen humans in the collapse.

Sebastian tightened his grip on the girl sensing said reapers but did nothing more, a possessiveness in the grip that went unnoticed by Ciel, a possessiveness that didn't come by order of his master to protect her, but was instead completely natural for the demon protecting what he wanted.
