*(Y/N)'s POV*
Here you were again, alone with lady Midford in the ballroom, ready to start your fencing match. You hadn't done any fencing in a very long time and had only watched your old master when he had his fencing match's and lessons. But your body still remembered the general steps and positions, so at least she wouldn't yell at you for 'being lazy' after you had been kidnapped.
Lady Midford was going to beat you. You already knew this. You had never beaten her as a kid and now you were out of practice when she defiantly wasn't. There was no one else around to watch the embarrassment of your loss, you also weren't in any protective gear as you didn't have any, but also at Lady Midfords request. That meant that every strike would hurt.
Wait! Your mind shouted at you, stopping you mid-step... I'm alone with Lady Midford. You smirked an idea coming to mind, it was risky, but Lady Midford would be too focused on the match and Ciel and Sebastian weren't there to give you away and yell at you afterwards.
You could use your powers, if you were very careful, Lady Midford would just think that she was having some sort of off day. You were now actually excited to have this match with her. Years of humiliation from the woman made you desperate to turn the tables back on her. You'd be cheating but quite frankly you didn't give a shit.
"Having second thoughts?" Lady Medford's voice cut through your thoughts.
"No my lady of course not. I'm just thinking about the moves, I am a bit out of practice you see" your admitted to the woman.
"Hmmm, you may be weak but I'm not letting you off easy" she said turning up her nose at you.
Yes, I think I'm weak, I want this defeat to really hurt "of course my lady, I wouldn't expect anything else."
You got into the starting stance as Lady Midford did the same, for the first time ever you were excited for a fencing match with Lady Midford.
*Time Skip*
The fencing match was going great, you were clearly winning and the stress of losing so easily could be seen on Lady Midford's face. Every time she would go for a strike that would clearly hit you, you'd flick your hand, that was behind you back, sending the sabre off course.
But you were getting tired and it was time to end this match, stepping forward for a strike you flicked your wrist just as Lady Midford stepped back, she tripped and was unable to save herself causing her to fall on her behind. She looked up to you in shock as her sabre clattered to the ground.
She quickly stood up brushing herself off "I though you said you were out of practice?"
"Yes, I am, but in my absence I did witnessed the teachings of a professional fencer, how could I not pick things up from just being around him?" it was a lie of course. Your old master had a teacher, but he was awful at fencing. Your master wasn't much better, but she didn't need to know any of that.
"Hmph. I'm surprised. You're very different from when you were as a child. It makes me curious as to what did happen to you" she was clearly fishing for the information, but you weren't going to give it to her.
"Like I have said, I prefer to keep the past in the past" you spoke putting away your sabre and smoothing out your clothes.
Lady Midford went to speak again the frown in her face clearly showing that she didn't like the dismissal of the topic, but there was a knock at the door. She turned towards the door and said a curt "enter" allowing the person to come in the room.
The door opened and the tall lean figure of Sebastian entered, your eyes closely followed him as he moved but you generally relaxed at his presence "my lady" he greeted you first "esteemed guest your room is ready for the night and dinner is ready so please make your way down to the dining hall when you are ready."
At the mention of dinner, you could feel the hunger gnawing at your stomach, you still let Lady Midford go first before following her. You all walked, Lady Midford slightly ahead of both of you and Sebastian, you walked slightly ahead of Sebastian yourself but nowhere near Lady Midford.
You felt Sebastian's presence come closer "you used your powers to beat Lady Midford, didn't you?"
"Maybe... how did you know?" You frowned slightly confused, he wasn't in the room so how would he know.
"Lady Midford seems more sour than usual and you seem more proud, and no offence, but your defiantly not skilled enough to beat lady Midford in a fencing match on your lonesome" Sebastian was smirking you could hear it in his voice.
You laughed quietly "well I wasn't going to lose this time; I've already spent enough time being kicked to the floor."
You heard Sebastian let out his own smooth laugh that rumbled in your chest and made a shiver run down your spine and your cheeks heat up "well done my lady."
You both continued to quietly chat to each other as you made your way down the corridor, both of you not noticing the sharp blue criticising eyes that glared at you.
*Time Skip*
Dinner was going well, the fencing match had not been mentioned yet so no one but you, Sebastian and Lady Midford knew that outcome. The conversation was simple and very boring to partake in, you completely zoned out of it just focusing on your food, that was until lady Midfords voice rung through your thoughts.
"So Ciel, have you chosen yet? I would love to celebrate the news of a Phantomhive marriage announcement."
Your head shot up, what's she talking about, Ciel then voiced your thoughts "marriage? My lady what could you be talking about, mine and Liz- Lady Elizabeth's marriage had been announced years ago."
"Not you and Elizabeth. A marriage for (Y/N). Unlike you a marriage was never arranged for your sister before your parent's death. And now that they are dead the choice falls to you. It needs to be someone very respectable and of a very high noble birth, if you're having trouble I have many great choices for you to look through. I would love to help you choose someone; Elizabeth's was organised mainly by your father, so I've never been in the position to choose a husband for someone." She wore a cruel smile that made you flinch.
Your mind finally clicked at what she was saying, your heart stopped, and you felt a huge pain in your chest. You felt your world crumbling around you. Marriage, as a noble woman you would have to marry a stranger and as a woman, you had no choice in the matter.

AN:Hello everyone just to let you know that I will probably be starting a My Hero Academia + Reader Fanfic with all the characters. The fanfic will be a multi path ending fanfic with many of the My Hero characters (male and female) as I have always wanted to make a multi path fanfic but haven't really found a suitable anime, I am then hopefully going to branch off from this fanfic with single character long fanfics so you can continue the story with the character of your choice.
At the moment I am still working on the rough idea as this is going to be quite a big project with all the different endings so I hope you will bare with me on it, but for now here is a rough draft of the description to the fanfic:
'You had never been satisfied with your life, it's not that you weren't unhappy, it's just that throughout your life you had longed for something more adventurous. Stories of princes saving princesses and great hero's that saved the world filled your mind keeping you glued to any screen that showed something of that theme. But in reality there weren't any hero's, just a normal boring life.
You knew it was impossible but you longed to be a hero in a very specific anime, My Hero Academia. You spent most of your free time analysing every scene closely, playing scenarios in your mind of how you'd rescue the civilians or fight the villains, but it was all for nothing after all this world didn't exists.
Or so you thought...
When your suddenly thrust into the world of My Hero how will you fight villains with a quirk you barely understand? And how will you cope when you catch the attention of a certain hero in training?'
