*3rd Persons POV*

Inside a central London nobles hospital lay a comatose nobleman, he looked nothing like the man he used to be, the damage done to his body having completely changed his appearance. There was nothing further that could be done for him now, all the doctors that tended to him could do was wait for him to awaken, pity on all their minds.

Burns covered his entire body and especially his face and head, he would forever be blind in one eye and will have lost most of his hair because of said burns, his legs had been completely crushed and it was doubtful he would ever be able to walk again. He was lucky to still be alive, however no one knew how much longer he would be, his fate was completely hanging in the balance.

No one knew what had happened, not even the policemen that first got to the scene, all they heard was the massive crash of his manor coming crumbling to the ground shaking the earth along with it. It felt like the earth itself was shaking even as they ran to the building. The noble man was the only one left alive, but the building had crushed his wife, who must have been running behind him when it fell, the secrets to what happened that night rested within the comatose man and the police commissioner Randall waited outside his door for that precious information.

Randall wasn't the only person waiting outside the noble man door, hidden from the commissioner was another noble man waiting for him to awaken. However he was waiting for a different reason he had been carefully watching the house that night and wanted to confirm what he saw, the telekinetic girl that took down the building and the strange dark haired man who could run faster than the eye could track.

This man had followed lord Ciel Phantomhive that night, he had been for a while. Well not himself, but one of his hired spies: some of which never returned to him. He had been waiting for lord Phantomhive to be put in a weak enough position for him to strike, he had heard things about the queen's guard dog, things that kept him on edge and carful.

The queens guard dog was making him lose money and he despised the fact that he was being bested by a child, the underworld network feared the small boy, but he couldn't understand why. Even so there was something about the young lord Phantomhive that kept the underworld in check, that's why he was being careful about attacking, his missing spy's adding to his weary ness.

Now all was left is to hope that Sir Stephens wakes up to tell him what he wanted to know.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

Your brothers bored expression changed into one of... well you couldn't actually tell what he was thinking or feeling by the look on his face, you just knew that he wasn't bored any more. He didn't look happy either, but didn't look annoyed by your presence, Sebastian lead you forward and as you got closer Ciel stood with a smile.

"(Y/N). The Phantomhive house is glad to have you back, I do hope it's alright that I call you (Y/N), we are siblings after all, I'm sure we can drop the formalities" Ciel held out his hand for you to take and you did.

"Yes I would actually prefer it if you called me by my name, it's been a very long while since I've been treated as a noble" you smiled.

The air around you was awkward but you knew that it would slowly go away as you got used to each other once again. It definitely didn't help that he didn't remember you, you didn't mind but you could tell that your brother wanted to address the issue. He gestured you to sit, and you did, as politely as you could remember from all those lessons from your childhood.

A looming shadow made you jump, your head turned quickly to see Sebastian, he was skilfully pouring you both some tea, the cart beside him also filled with different snacks. You were mesmerised by the level of skill he was exhibiting to pour the tea it was inhuman and amazing, not to mention his side profile was gorgeous.

"Today, for my lord and my lady, is camomile tea to help you both relax this lunch break. I have also brought a simple leaf salad as a side to some freshly made crab cakes. I hope they are fitting for you appetite" Sebastian explained.

"Thank you Sebastian" you smiled while looking over the food.

"Leave us" Ciel quickly cut in "I would like some privacy with (Y/N)."

"Of course my lord, don't hesitate to call me if you need something" Sebastian bowed and as he stood up made direct eye contact with you.

A shiver went down your spine as he finally turned away and walked back towards the servants entrance to the manor, you watched him until he was fully out of view and then turned back to your brother, he was looking at you with a quirked eyebrow.

"Is something wrong?" You asked confused.

"You seem to have taken quite the interest in my butler" Ciel said quite frankly.

You blushed at the connotations of what he was saying "ummm not like that... it's just he seems very capable; I suppose I was just wondering who he is."

"Yes, he is very capable, he wasn't always. As to who he is... I'm not sure myself he came to my aid and back then I would have accepted anyone" the mood turned solum and made you awkwardly shift in your seat. You knew exactly what he was talking about wouldn't push it.

So, you changed the subject "so... it was mentioned that you had something to ask and talk to me about?"

Ciel shifted to sit straight up to look at you "ah yes, this may be a difficult topic to turn to but I have many questions about the night of the fire, how we were separated and most importantly how you got these powers of yours. It is true that I don't remember you, but I don't think you were born with telekinetic abilities..."

"... you're correct, I wasn't technically born with them... but please do ask what you like, generally I am over that part of my life as I have already punished those who caused my pain" you turned serious lifting your tea to your lips.

"What do you mean? 'You weren't technically born with them' surely you either were or were not?" Ciel picked up his own tea, skipping over the part where you basically told him you had murdered people...

"I think to fully understand, I should start from the beginning; I think I should start from when we're were separated..."
