*Sebastians POV*

Your shoulders slightly tensed where you stood at lady Midfords words. Your eyes flashed their demonic crimson red at the notion of (Y/N) being married off. It wasn't noticeable to all the humans in the room, but a threatening tension still settled over you. Your eyes looked over to (Y/N), she was frozen, and you could see the cogs working in her mind, lady Midford was a formidable woman which meant that there was almost no way for you to go against her in your current human veil. It also meant that you were going to see (Y/N) go to some disgusting humans male.

But why do I care? Your mind clicked... why do I care? (Y/N)'s a human, a human I should have no problem ripping to pieces if the feeling comes over me, just like every other human I have killed in the past... Your heart clenched at the thought of (Y/N) dieing or being taken away from you... it clenched, it actually clenched, which was a feeling you had never felt before.

Since when did you get so weak and for a human of all creatures, a human you'd hadn't known for very long at all, how curious. The slight crack from splintering glass brought you from those thoughts, your eyes moved from (Y/N) to the large windows, a human's eyes wouldn't be able to see it from this distance, but you could... the glass was cracking and it didn't take a genius to figure out who was at fault.

Ciel must have realised (Y/N) was about to lose it, as he spoke up first "I just got her back, why would I let her go so soon. Plus, we still have years of missed family time to catch up on, not to mention the fact that I completely forgot of her existence , I have to make it up to her"

Lady Midford let out a short sarcastic laugh "the time is perfect why would you wait for trivial family matters. She is of the age to be married and a fine lady in the making, many a fine gentleman would have her. Finally, you will be married to Elizabeth soon, then she would have no place here in your house. Better to be rid of her before it gets complicated"

You heard the glass crack again and so moved as (Y/N) finally spoke "I am still in the room you know... I would appreciate it if you didn't speak like I wasn't, it isn't very lady like of you"

(Y/N)'s voice was biting and cold, she was very angry as you could even feel it radiating from her. You could also feel her trying to pull back her power but by the state of the windows it was all for nothing, you stepped forward placing a gentle gloved hand on her shoulder to calm her before she destroyed the room, her power was a dangerous one. It worked, slightly, as you felt some of her tension dissipate.

Lady Midford quirked an eyebrow "I'm not, it's just that you aren't in any position to have any say in your marriage. Just sit pretty and let your brother and Aunt talk."

(Y/N) tensed and Ciel spoke once again matching lady Midfords eyes "where is this coming from my lady? my sister's marriage is no business of yours."

"Yes well I've told you, I've always wanted to organise a marriage as Elizabeth's was arranged mainly by your farther I had no say then so I've turned my eyes to (Y/N)... plus..." her sharp eyes turned to you "it would force your butler to keep his distance as well."

Ciels one uncovered eye looked over to you, but not in an accusatory way, it was more questioning to what she was talking about.  You spoke up next not removing your hand "my lady... there is nothing going on between myself and lady Phantomhive." Although you did want something between you but this wasn't the time to drop that into the already fragile atmosphere of the room.

"That's what you say, but you are both much closer than a servant and a noble lady should be" Lady Midford pushed.

(Y/N)'s shoulders rise as she took in a deep breath, trying to calm herself. You then removed your hand as she stood sharply, all eyes on her in surprise "excuse me, I am going to take my leave before I find myself strangling someone." Her eyes lingered on Lady Midford telling everyone exactly who that statement was directed at.
