You gasped hearing that familiar name, it was your cousin and your brothers fiancé, they had come to the manor... unannounced as usual. You had to admit there timing being wasn't brilliant, you and Ciel were just getting aquatinted again and having a very deep conversation, you were about to ask him what he had gone through but now that would have to wait.
You heard Ciel let out a loud sigh, and you looked over to him seeing him close his eyes in an annoyed manner. You repressed a laugh, you could tell that Ciel was already done with this situation and he hadn't even said hello to them yet.
Ciel stood from beside you and Sebastian fell into step behind him, sensing he wanted you to follow you also stood, you walked a step behind your brother trying to remember all the noble decorum when it came to walking. A step behind the master of the house but not walking alongside any servants... that means Sebastian.
You would have to be careful now, Francis Midford was a very strict woman and you knew that she would be scrutinising everything you did, especially since you had been gone for so long. You felt your shoulders tense as you walked remembering all of her harsh fencing lessons in the past.
*Flashback*
Your hands hit the floor hard desperately trying to break your fall, you had tripped once again during your fencing lesson, a flair of pain shooting up yo lit wrist from the impact. A slight Tch came from above you, that Tch wasn't very lady like, you thought looking up to her. You wouldn't want to ever say that to the woman's face though, that nasty scowl at your fencing incompetence even stopping the breath in your lungs.
"Sloppy. You stand like someone of a lower class" she touched and moved your body "this is how you must stand; you must tense but still be relaxed enough for fluid movement"
She moved back in front of you and then got into her own stance "now try to strike me again."
And so, you did. Every time she visited your family manor, she would put you through vigorous tests, for hours. You began to dread the days she visited and even found yourself trying to hid away when you knew she was coming, you parents always told you off from trying to hide from guests, but you didn't care when it came to Lady Midford.
*End Of Flashback*
Thinking back on it now compared to the rest of your life what lady Midford did to you every time you saw her was nothing, but you were very young and even as a child you were wild and adventurous, you weren't born for the noble life like everyone expected of you.
A gentle hand on your shoulder pulled you f I'm your thoughts, by now you and Ciel had split and you didn't even notice, you were near your bedroom and realised that you had been unconsciously making your way over to it. You glanced over your shoulder to see Sebastian, he was following you and from the look on his face he was worried, probably because he was speaking, and you hadn't been responding.
"My lady" he spoke "are you feeling alright?"
"Yes, sorry for ignoring you Sebastian, I was just lost in thought" you smiled "I'll be in my room if I am needed."
"My lady, the Midford are here to see you... wouldn't it be better to come down to the dining room" Sebastian said "Or even greet them at the main doors."
"I doubt that they are, how would they have even found out this quickly." you said finally opening your room and shutting it behind you so that Sebastian couldn't say anything else.
You realised that once again you were falling back into old habits whenever the Midford made their appearance, you were hiding you would openly admit that, there was no sham inside of you as you cowered away in your room. Your refused to be humiliated now that you were (Y/A), although... you did now have some amazing telekinetic abilities you could use to win if she challenged you to a fencing match.
You heard sure footsteps walking away and knew that it was Sebastian leaving you to your hiding, plus if the Midford were here he had to prepare tea for them and keep them all happy. You were glad he had stuff to do and so couldn't occupy his time by trying to persuade you into meeting with them.
Your heart was racing, you were so nervous about seeing the Midfords, but it was not excited nervousness like with Ciel, but fear. You needed to calm down as even your breathing was starting to pick up, you felt yourself going into a panic attack and you hadn't had one of them in a very long time.
It wasn't very lady like, but you sat on the floor crossing your legs under you, you then placed your hand in your lap and began taking deep breaths beginning to try and meditate. It took you while to get into the proper mediative state, but once you got there, you'd be much better off for it.
*Time Skip*
*Sebastians POV*
As you suspected, (Y/N) was called upon by the Midfords who had specifically come to the manor to see her the moment they got your letter, but (Y/N) wasn't at the door to greet them. This put a very sour expression on lady Midfords face and she demanded you to go and find her, before swiftly chastising Ciel about the absence of (Y/N), you knew that (Y/N) would soon be in trouble as well.
You had sent Tanaka on to start the tea, while you went to persuade (Y/N) to leave the room and see her family, you could have probably managed the tea yourself but you didn't know how long it was going to take to get (Y/N) out of her room.
You knocked on her bedroom door calling out "Miss (Y/N), May I come in."
You heard no response but could sense (Y/N) in her room, you called out again but a bit louder but still you didn't get any response, you knew you could get in trouble but you reached for the door nob and turned it to enter the room. The door smoothly opened and then your eyes widened in surprise, although the scene explained why you didn't get an answer.
(Y/N) was sat in a mediative position in the middle of her floor, but that wasn't the surprising part. She was floating about a meter off the ground, not only that but the objects on her desks and dresses were also floating, your eyes searched the area looking at everything. This girl was more powerful than you thought, you could now feel the power radiating from her and made your primal instincts to make her yours go mad.
Your gulped down the desire controlling it, now wasn't the time for this, someone would come and search for you if you took too long. You elegantly walked towards her and then gently placed a gloved hand in her shoulder, you didn't want to scare her, but it didn't really work out.
She gasped and dropped to the floor with a thump "I apologise my lady, I didn't mean to scare you"
"Oh Sebastian, it's ok. What did you need?" (Y/N) asked you.
"My lady. The Midfords would like to see you, in fact they have specifically come here for you" you answered.
(Y/N) paused just looking at you her eyes flicking around the room "ok" she murmured and then stood.
Her dress was crinkled so you stepped forward "please miss, allow me to straighten out your dress."
She nodded and you knelt down in front of her to gently straighten out her dress, her heart rate picked up as you moved around, a slight smirk coming to you lip which you hid with a tilt down of your head. You liked the reactions to could draw out of her, finally when satisfied you stood up and held out your hand for her to take.
"Well my lady, are you ready?"
