*(Y/N)'s POV*

Your eyes settled on Sebastian's gloved hand that was stretched out to you, but you didn't reach for it, his question repeatedly running through your mind. Are you ready my lady? Are you ready? Am I ready? Am I... ready? What's ready? Physically? No way I still move like a commoner. Emotionally? Still no! Defiantly no! So... am I ready?

Nope!

Your eyes moved away from Sebastian's hand and to the rest of the room, it was a complete mess, stuff just laid on the floor some of it broken. You backed away from the tall butler and then turning to walk towards the stuff.

"My lady?" You heard from behind you.

"Maybe I should clean up first, don't want to leave a messy room behind. Messy room, messy mind people say" you spoke, a slight forced giggle in your voice.

"My lady it isn't your job to clean up, I'll send the maid while you're having tea with the Midfords, it'll all be cleaned up by the time you get back" you didn't look at Sebastian but you could feel his eyes on you.

A shiver went up your spine at the thought of those deep crimson pools watching you, there's defiantly something wrong with that guy "no I'll do it, I made the mess after all"

"My lady" Sebastian started "not to be rude or improper but... are you afraid to see the Midfords."

Your body froze for a second before you continued with your cleaning, you stayed silent not sure how to answer him, he was completely right of course, and it threw you. You heard his steps getting closer, even and solid, you flinched with each one.

You felt a familiar gentile hand on your shoulder "I'll take your silence as a yes."

You turned your head to respond to him but your words get stuck in your throat, when you met his eyes for a split second his eyes seemed to have flashed bright but also dark red, with his pupils turning to slits, it was so animal like and made you feel like prey. But you must have imagined it, right? Your suspicion of him must just be mounting on top of all the stress and anxiety, making you see things.

"I'm going to put it plainly, so I hope I don't cause offence, but running away from the Midfords and hiding from your fear isn't going to make it go away. The Midfords won't leave until they have seen you. By hiding away, you're just increasing the entire house holds suffering along with yours" Sebastian pulled you to your feet.

You sighed "fine... sorry I know, I'll come now, and you didn't cause offence. I don't like being treated like a noble anyway so say whatever you like to me"

You smiled, sighing away some of your nerves Sebastian opened your door and stood in the outside waiting for you, you nodded and followed him. As you both walked Sebastian tried to walk slightly behind you but you didn't let him, your slowed down to match his pace, even if you didn't trust him yet having his tall figure next to you was a bit of a comfort, and you'd take any of that at the moment.

You must have looked quite strange to anyone in the outside, Finney giving you both a strange look as he passed by you on the way to the garden. Both of you at that point walking at a snail's pace as every time you slowed so did Sebastian.

You heard a low chuckle from Sebastian, as he had realised what you were doing, and he sped up so that you both walking at a normal pace. You nodded slightly in thanks; you didn't know if he saw it because you didn't look at him.

Light posh chatter could be heard drifting down the corridor, it was defiantly Lady Midford judging from the womanly ring to the voice, another much higher pitched female voice followed. Elizabeth. Then two male voices, it was the full Midford family, which was quite surprising to you as they rarely all left there estate together.

Your heart somehow picked up even more, this was it, you couldn't escape this no matter how much you wanted to. The door to the tearoom was on the latch letting a little bit of natural light into the corridor.

Sebastian took a few longer steps ahead of you to open the door and announce you to the room but turned around first speaking to you quietly so that the people inside the room couldn't hear him.

"My lady it would be wise to keep your telekinetic powers a secret from the Midford as they don't know about them, the young master had also ordered us all to keep it quiet for your safety."

"Yes, thank you, I also believe that's for the best" you quietly said back.

He nodded before turning to the door, he knocked and then opened the door before announcing you "my lord, esteemed guests I have brought miss (Y/N)."

You heard a slight humph from lady Midford, that almost made you run away screaming, probably directed Sebastian's 'messy' appearance. But you held fast, if you ran away now you wouldn't only embarrass yourself but Sebastian as well, and that guilt would weigh on you.

At that announcement you stepped through the door as gracefully as you could, trying as best as you could to keep your head held high to meet all of there gazed. You would have to have a full heart attack about this later, but for now you would hold strong.

You heard a familiar squeak from Lizzy at the sight of you and you tired your best to paint a smile on your face, you weren't sure if you should say anything or let them speak first so there was some awkward atmosphere as you went to your seat.

Sebastian placed a cup of tea in front of you as your brother Ciel began to speak "Lady Midford, as you can see there were no lies in that letter you were sent, My sister, lady Phantomhive is alive and well"

You flinched slightly at your brother calling you lady Phantomhive, the name reminding you of your mother, but it was accurate. With your mother gone and with you and your brother currently unmarried you were still lady Phantomhive. You would remain lady Phantomhive until you were married or until Lizzy took your place.

Your brother's statement was unanswered, Lady Midford was clearly going to lead this conversation and turned to you ignoring Ciel "Nothing to say to us after you had been gone for so long?"

"Lady Midford and family, it is good to see you again" you said as politely as possible.

Lizzy and her father both broke out into wide smiles, Edward just remained blank he had clearly changed a lot since the last time you saw him, but so to be fair so had you. Lady Midford however was not impressed with your apparent lack of detail.

"Is that all you have to say to us, you've been gone for a very long time I would like to know what has happened to you" Lady pushed just as nosey as she ever was.

"Aunt Midford ple-" Ciel started, but in a surge of confidence you cut him off by placing a hand gently on his shoulder.

"My lady, not to be rude to you but I prefer not to talk about my past unless absolutely necessary, unfortunately small talk is not necessary" You spoke while dying on the inside, you were the older sibling and you couldn't let your younger brother defend you.

The room went silent. Lady Midfords eyebrow quirked at you clear defiance, that's right. You can't push me around anymore... I've just decided, you thought while you heart still thumped with fear. She was an extremely imposing woman, but you quickly realised that here in this house it was your brother who was in charge as it was his house and you used this thought to calm yourself down, you'd have to be on your toes to deal with this.
