"You're telling me that someone is looking into my past?" She asked giving James a glance. She wasn't surprised by the news. Gaining power, attract enemies.
When Her Grandfather died, they were all expecting his 2 sons to split his shares. When an unknown granddaughter took over almost everything, they did all they can to take her down.
Too bad, Uncle Leonard wasn't someone they could just disregard. Lucian Chen built the company with him by his side, he was basically one of the few people her grandfather trusted with his life. So having him to guide and somewhat protect her, their attempts were in some way, useless.
"Why do I feel like you already know about this?" James expressed with a hint of suspicion.
"Uncle told me."
"Wait, so this was what you talked about after the dinner at the Mansion?" He voiced, looking like he was about to have a meltdown.
"Not Quite." She whispered, too quietly that James was unable to hear it.
"Does this have something to do with the Hong Kong expansion?" His question startled Yaya. "Yaya are you hiding something from me? Because the last time I questioned you-"
"James, Can I ask you a question?" Her sudden interruption caused James to sigh in defeat.
"Yes. Go ahead."
"When the only thing keeping you together is being threatened, what will you do?"
Her question shocked him, it was like he was looking at the same Yaya he met all those years ago. When Mae Dao was about to die, before her whole world fell apart.
Her eyes holding the kind of fear and pain that can wreck someone's soul. He didn't want to see that side of her again. "You do everything you can to protect it." She said looking at James with a determined expression.
He still had questions circulating his mind, but he chose to stay quiet. It was something she needed to tell herself, without pressure.
"Don't worry about me, I may be hiding all the time but you know I'm not a coward." She smiled at him. "Silence is Power. When the expansion in Hong Kong is finalized, I might tell you everything."
"There's another thing about that." James hesitated. "Kugimiya Co. Wants to have the meeting with Dahlia Chen...I told you that man is seriously suspicious, I mean, they threatened to pull out a total of 10% if we refused their request."
"Agree to it." She replied instantly. She wasn't going to back out from the only company who agreed to have a collaboration. Her suspicion was someone was behind those companies who refused to even set up a meeting.
So, Kugimiya Corporation agreeing meant they are too big to be played as puppets by someone who wanted to sabotage her or maybe he also has something up his sleeves. Her choice to risk it was a very stupid move on her part, but not risking at all was even more ridiculous.
"What? Yaya! Are you sure? This could be a set up! I mean aren't you even slightly suspicious about why he wanted to meet you. Even threatening the company. He might be an old geezer wanting to prey on you or something! Your name is known by other businessmen in Europe. Businessmen who wanted to have a personal meeting with you. They are so tired of my face sometimes, I swear, I can see it in their eyes. Why decide to show yourself now?"
James' queries made sense, but she already decided to risk everything. Europe was very different, it was easier to be low profile especially when James was the social one. She only shows her face at important events connected to Amada.
"Because Kugimiya Corporation is my ticket to Hong Kong. I need to succeed in this James, so I think I'm going to be fine. Where is the meeting taking place?"

"Is everything ready?"
"Yes President, I put everything in one account, even the one's belonging from small scale incomes." Secretary Ito looked at the president's side profile, wondering why his Boss put all his Money into one account. It certainly wasn't a small amount, He was instructed to even prepare the stocks he owned like he was about to hand it to someone else.
"Can you also send the tailor at the Penthouse, I want a different suit for tomorrow." Secretary Ito was taken aback, the reason was because he already sent about a dozen new suits at his boss's penthouse yesterday.
"Yes sir."

"A reservation under Mr. Kugimiya" Yaya informed the attendant.
"This way Ms. Chen." The attendant lead the way to a private room. She was now in a 5 star Western Restaurant in Bangkok, James kept insisting to go with her but she strongly refused.
She wanted to do this alone, he only agreed when she told him she'll take her new secretary with her. She made him sit at a table outside the private room, so it'll be easier to call him when she need his help for something.
"Mr. Kugimiya gave us the order to let the miss pick anything from the Menu." She nodded thinking about Mr. Kugimiya's Generosity.
The attendant left her alone after she ordered a bottle of her favorite Italian white wine.
Taking this time to remember the information about Mr. Nadech Kugimiya, she wondered why he wanted to meet her. From what she gathered he was a very low profiled businessman.
A ruthless Tycoon who originated from Japan, now he has a hold on almost every business in Hong Kong and a whole lot of connections in the US. She guessed that the man wanted to expand in Europe with this Collaboration. It was the only thing she can think of.
She wondered what he looked like, the man was too secretive similar to her who preferred privacy. Was he really ugly or really old like what James Assumed?
Her imagination came to a halt when the door suddenly opened revealing a man in his late twenties, he was younger than she thought . His hair was set into a military cut, revealing a small scar on his temple.
He looked like a young, upright man who follows all rules and will never swindle you, if there was one. Well you can never tell, because everyone called him a devil. He was slightly good-looking but not exactly the type of 'charming' every woman was looking for.
"Mr. Kugimiya." She greeted from her seat.
