"A favor and in return you'd help me expand in Europe?" Nadech stared at Yaya intently, her actions are poised showing her self-confidence.

"I thought you wanted to expand in Hong Kong?"

Her earlier display of a shy, blushing woman gone like it never happened. Now, he couldn't help but stare at her with fondness. She made it her mission to seriously avoid eye contact with him.

Her mannerisms were still the same, the way she constantly pushed her hair back behind her ears with both hands. Although, she never smiled, her blush was an indicator that he somehow, has an effect on her.

"I changed my mind, expansion takes a lot of time and effort. Plus, this favor will be an easy task for you." Yaya's gaze dead set on her second glass of white wine, refusing to look at the man.

"Let's say I agree, what kind of favor will you ask of me?" He asked again, this time she looked at him straight in the eyes before answering.

"I want to use your resources to find someone in Hong Kong. You are basically connected to its every business making it easy for you to get information." She stated seriously, making his earlier calm expression harden. Who does she need to find that she needed to exert all this effort for?

"What made you think I'd need your help expanding to Europe?" she was taken aback by his question.

She felt the atmosphere change to something harsh, something almost cold and sinister. Surprisingly she didn't feel fear, it actually made her feel more open and confident.

"I'll do anything you want for this favor." She stated confidently, staring back at his intense eyes.

"Dear, are you sure about that ?" He scoffed, looking at her mockingly.

Inside he was still angry at the fact that she was doing all this for someone else. She just looked at him daringly as a reply.

"Why is it important to find this person?" he probed. He really can't calm himself until he finds out who this person is to her. Is it a man? A Long lost love?

"Let's just say He's the only family I have left."

Her answer confused him at first, because he knew she had other family members who are still alive, but then something inside him clicked.

He stared at her whole profile, remembering a certain promise he made.

"Marry me." He said casually. " As my wife, my resources will also be yours. You can use it however you want, to look for whoever you want. "

His sudden idea shocked her, making her nearly spill the wine she was holding in her hand.

"M-marry you?" she asked, a flash of disbelief was seen in her eyes.

Marrying was out of the question. Although, she was attracted to him, it was not an enough reason to marry someone she barely knew.

"Yes... Marry me." he said, nodding his head wearing a straight face. " This is a very serious proposal I'm making Miss Chen. "

"I am sorry Mr. Kugimiya but I'm afraid I have to turn that down. There's someone else I have in mind for marriage." she raised one of her eyebrows, thanking the heavens for composing herself quickly. "I won't marry just anyone."

"Someone else?" He asked too calmly. Like he was controlling what comes out of his mouth, despite the raging questions he had.

A deafening silence engulfed the whole room, almost suffocating Yaya with its heaviness.

"Who?" his deep voice filled the silence. His jaws clenched and his eyes were unreadable, holding an almost predatory glow. The already cold atmosphere turned colder.

He suddenly laughed without emotion, it made her heart clench for some reason. It was an empty laugh but why did she feel pain through it? Why was he in pain?

All these years of trying to hold herself together, to become more aware of the things so she wouldn't get hurt. Pain is something she was accustomed to.

Why does the pain of this man affect her?

"To the man I'm trying so hard to find." she said almost in a whisper looking back down at her wine glass.

He was astounded, her words cleansing his soul almost making him want to die of too much Happiness. His bunny really had a big effect on him, he thought. Her every word can easily change his mood.

He looked at her again, but now his eyes were clear. She looked up at him again.

"He's someone who saved me twice. Someone I'd die for, willingly. " She said. "If I am to marry someone I'd pick for myself, it would be him, if he'll have me." She uttered, her eyes glaring at him with pure determination.

His eyes, it was telling her something. Why was it so clear, so transparent? It was drawing her in, different from the blank and hardened look he displayed earlier, softening her glare.

Now, she can't seem to look away, like she was hypnotized. Why did this scene seem so familiar to her?

Her eyebrows now scrunched showing her confusion. Then something astonishing happened.

He smiled a full blown smile.

Two deep dents showed itself on both cheeks. Two familiar Dimples.

His eyes now held a memory, something she can perfectly remember when she was just a child.

A memory that changed her life.

She got up suddenly. "How?"

"B-b-bear." she stammered, her heart on overdrive.

This was just too coincidental, what are the chances? This is impossible, this is just too unbelievable, she thought.

"No." Denial turned into Anger. "Who are you!?"
